Thiara's POV

"Where do you want to go in the next day?"he asked while we were waiting for the food to be served

We're at the one of a kind restaurant in the City, the place looks good and refreshing. The place was full of green plants, the place is relaxing.

"I don't know"nagkibit balikat ako "How about you? Where do you want to go next?"I asked

He pressed his lips and face me
"I know a place"aniya "But, it's far from here"dagdag niya

My smile fade away when he said it was far from here, I was excited at first but it suddenly fade when he said it.

Nang nasa mansyon pa ako, Papà never let me travel far from home even when I started working and with Cath, I still don't go traveling. Papà always has his guards on duty to check me from time to time, even at work.

As far as I remember,the last time I travel is when I was 3 years old with mom. After the incident happened, Papà never let me go traveling.

"Where?"tanong ko, for once, I want to experience traveling without any hindrance

Papà let his guards off of me, he assumed Kenzo will take good care of me, of course he did.

"It's in South Cotabato"he answered, my brows furrowed in confusion. It's my first time hearing that place, actually I was shocked knowing there's a place like that.

"Where is that?"kunot noong tanong ko

"Mindanao"he replied, my eyes went wide, still processing what he said

"Mindanao?"hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko "That's a dangerous place! I don't want to go there!"bigla ay tumaas ang boses

My brows are still furrowed, I looked at him and he was just laughing while watching me with the mixed emotions. I glared at him, amd suddenly he sat straight

"Who told you it's a dangerous place?"tatawa tawang tanong niya habang nakahawak sa baba

"Papà told me about it!"I yelled again

"Then, your Papà is wrong"he chuckled "It's a perfect place, and besides, it's way too far from the war prone area"

"How sure are you?"

"Well"he licked his lower lip "I've been there for how many times"

"You've been there already?"

"Yes, I actually go to the province of Sultan Kudarat"he shrugged

"And that place called Sultan Kudarat?"I curiously asked, confused with the names he was saying!

"No, South Cotabato is also a province in Mindanao so as the Sultan Kudarat province"

My mouth formed an 'o' after hearing those words from him, he must be going there for so long. I don't know.

"Sultan Kudarat is a good province, hindi sila masyadong dinadaanan ng kalamidad. It's like it's a miracle place"he smiled at me "I want to go in Esperanza for some reasons"he added, I looked at him

"What reasons? Would you mind if I ask?"

"Well, Esperanza is know as the Halo-halo Capital of the Philippines"nakunot ang noo ko "I'm sure you what halo-halo is"tumawa ito

"Of course, I do"then I rolled my eyes

He was about to talk again when the waiter served our orders, I ordered buttered chicken while Kenzo ordered a steak.

We're silently eating, talking when someone will ask.

For the past months that I lived with him, I felt comfort. Comfort that no one could give except Kenzo and of course, Jacq.

I looked at him who's eating silently, as I look at him seeing happy with me, it makes me feel guilt. How can I just hurt this man? Napalapit na din ito sakin, I will never know what will do if the time comes and I needed to end what's in between us.

I stopped watching him when my phone beeped, it was a text message coming from, of course, my father.

From:Papà

Always remember Thiara, you're on your way there.

I took a deep breath and glanced at him again, for the past months, Papà didn't let a day skip without reminding me of what to do.

Walang araw ang hindi ako nakakatnggap ng text o tawag mula kay Papà, he always ask me if I'm doing good.

"Are you okay?"I shook my head and face him

"Yeah, I'm sorry"I smiled "Papà texted me, he was just checking if we're doing good"I lied, yes, I lied, again.

"Continue your food"he smiled at me and continue eating his food

Nang matapos kumain ay agad kaming pumunta sa pinakamalapit na mall, it was nearly 8:00 in the evening.

I glanced at him who's stalking me from behind, I gave him a wide smile before asking
"Where do you want to go next?"

He licked his lower lips and stared at me for a minute

"Next to you"
