You were standing at your locker when an all to familiar redhead came up to you.
"Hey there (y/n), pleasure seeing you here" he smiled nervously.
"At my locker?" you questioned laughing at the boy.
"Yeah anyways I came up here to ask if you, uh, wanted to hang out later?" he said looking down at his feet.
"Like a date?" you asked smiling.
"Yeah, like a date" he answered looking up at you with a goofy smile on his face.
You were about to answer when someone yelled your name. You looked to your side to see your friends walking towards you and Dinger.
"Oh shit" he said to himself "I got to go- see you later" he scurried away down the hall.
"Wait I didn't get to answer!" you yelled after him "pick me up at seven!" you finished smiling.
Dinger turned around with a big grin before hurriedly walking away. You closed your locker and smiled, excited about your date tonight.
