I did my hair and make up and walked out and Spooky went into the dining room with Sad Eyes. I followed and An hour later the 3 16th street guys came and they sat down Sad Eyes and I standing behind Oscar.
Oscar:We dont sling to children, and we settle our differences with words not guns thats it the new code everyone wants a change we're fighting over territories we dont even own we're gonna get outta here we're gonna own s**t all the santos are behind me theres no decent
Guy 1:No decent here either
Oscar poured himself and the guys a glass and hand over a paper
Oscar:these are your territories as long as your stay in your territories theres no problems my word. We've had our head on a swivel for to long no mas we work together to slip problems before they become problems. You good?
Guy 1:Yeah
He got up taking the paper.
Guy 1:I wanna make it to my 16th birthday
Then they walked out.
Sad Eyes:I'm gonna make that run now, nos vemos mas tarde (see you later)
Spooky knocked on the wooden table for good luck smilining momentarily and sad eyes walked out.
Ceaser:Your getting played those kids dont want peace
Oscar:Peace is good for business
Ceaser:What happens when the prophets get outta jail or a new gang pops up your not niave
Oscar:thats right I'm not there will always be issues but I'm sick of this game someone has to take the first step
Ceaser:*pftts* first step or first slip they know your soft your a target now
Oscar got up and walked over to Ceaser.
Oscar:mano
He put his hand on ceaser's shoulder and ceaser pushed it away.
Oscar:its a new day I dont need this s**t I want adult problems I wanna own a house, get married have a kid all I have right now is resentment and missed oppurtunities I dont want that s**t no more its time to give it away and start a new chapter
Ceaser:Someone takes your power
Oscar:Let em you taught me the real power is all up here
He pointed to his mind and Oscar went to his room.
That Night
We stared at the water.
Me:You want kids?
He stared at the water.
Oscar:Yeah
Me:And get married?
Oscar:Yeah
I stared at the water
Oscar:Whats on your mind?
I looked at him.
Me:*smiles* Lets do it papi
He smiled.
That Summer
I pulled into the driveway and got out seeing the santos on the front lawn.
Juan:You get the drinks?
Me:I did
I handed out the drinks.
Sad Eyes:gracias
Me:de nada (your welcome)
Monse walked up standing on the side walk. I looked at her.
Monse:I'm leaving for the summer
The others walked up hugging her and saying goodbye I walked over and hugged Monse.
Monse:Take care of Ceaser
Me:Of course
Monse:and Oscar
Me:Yeah
She got in the car.
Monse:Bye guys I love you
Us:Love you
She got in the car and drove away.
~Two Years Later~
Present Day
I got outta the shower pulling on the outfit below

I did my hair and make up and I walked out of the bathroom and into our bedroom. I pulled on my heels and sprayed some perfume and I walked downstairs and out back. So many people were here and Oscar was at the grill. I walked over and he turned facing me and smiling. He kissed me.
Oscar:*smiles* You look hermonsa (beautiful)
Me:*smiles* Gracias baby
We kissed again and I looked at his curls.
Me:Oh wait
I moved a curl back in place and he smiled.
Eva:Mommy!
She crawled over and I picked her up off the green grass.
Me:*Smiles* Happy birthday mija
I kissed her
Oscar:Hey *smiles* What about me?
She smiled at him.
Eva:daddy!
She reached for him and he took her and showered her with kisses making her smile.
Me:*smiles* She is such a daddy's girl
Oscar:*smiles* I know its great
Linda:Hey someone is at the front door for you
Me:Thanks linda
I looked at Oscar.
Me:I'll be right back
I kissed him and eva and walked into the house through the patio door and to the front door. I opened the door and saw no one. I looked down and saw a small box. I picked it up and opened it seeing a bandana and on top of it 3 bullets. One my name, one Oscar's name and one Eva's name. I looked around and saw black van speed off causing chills to crawl down my spine.
