"Who are you?" I asked, still left in the shock and scared state that came over me when gunshots were heard.
I look up to his face which was hidden behind a dark shadow and bit my lips as silence fell between us.
"Who I am is none of your business,"...
I quickly entered the bathroom and closed the door as my mind flashes back to what had just happened and right now I'm dying with embarrassment!
Like how the hell did I got on top of him?! And why did I had to hit his...private part when I scrambled to get off of him? Ugh! I'm so clumsy!!
"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" I yelled to myself while I did a facepalm and sigh afterward.
Gosh, I hope he forgets about this...
Anyways, I tried to push those embarrassing thoughts aside and began to strip from my clothes. Turning on the shower next, I entered inside shivering as the cold water, which soon turned to warm, hit my skin.
I took about a fifteen to twenty-minute shower before turning the water off, wrapping a towel around me and exiting the shower.
And there just had to be a surprise waiting for me because as soon as I exited the shower, there stood Jaxon, a shirtless one who thankfully still had on pants, brushing his teeth.
Yeah, and he literary scared me because no, I wasn't expecting to see anyone in the bathroom waiting for me while I shower! So yeah, I basically screamed and almost dropped my towel while staring at him in wide-eyed. And he just went on, brushing his teeth, as if I wasn't even there.
"Um..." yeah, that's all that came out of my mouth. I was actually speechless for a moment but after realizing that I need to get out of here so he can get ready and because I need to get dress, I turned around and left.
Embarrassed once again...
After getting dressed in the clothes I didn't know Jaxon brought with him, I sat down and waited for him to be done. I've decided to turn on the tv to entertain myself while braiding my hair but was soon interrupted by a knock on the door.
frowning, I got up and walked to the door before opening it, after they knocked again, and there stood a woman dressed as a room service person. She was holding a tray with breakfast and had a very bright, welcoming smile on her face.
"Um...hi, how can I help you?" I asked her, still frowning.
"Oh hi, I'm room service and I'm here to deliver the breakfast that was ordered by this room" she replied and I gave her a confused look.
I don't remember Jaxon ordering breakfast...Or maybe he did...when I was taking a bath but wouldn't he tell me that he had order breakfast? Ugh! I don't know!
"Um...Are you sure that it was this room and not another one? Maybe you mixed up the numbers? Cause, I really don't remember anyone ordering breakfast and-What the hell?" I was suddenly cut off by a punch to my face.
I winced in pain since it hurts really bad and my mind tried to process what had just happened.
Is she one of those bad guys?
"shit!" I swore as I tried to escape cause no, I'm not gonna stand here and get hit or die. Yeah...but it was too late for that cause whatever her name was, was so fast or whatever that she managed to grab me before I could've run.
She dropped the tray she was holding and place her hands on my throat and lifted me off my feet and Unlike Jaxon, her grip tightens real fast as she glared angrily into my eyes.
"where is he?!" she yelled in my face while I struggle to breathe and attempt to get her hands off of me.
"I-I...Don't...know" no, I wasn't gonna snitch on him cause I mean he did save my life so I would feel bad if I told her where he was. And I guess because I didn't tell her, that caused her to become even angrier and now I'm about to die cause I can't breathe at all.
I'm turning blue and everything was becoming dizzy.
"Useless b*tch! You think you can lie to me?!" she asked as she held my throat tighter and my vision was fading while I tried to fight her off.
Keyword-tried.
She was too damn strong and no matter how much I tried, I kept failing. And soon enough, I knew I'd be out of air and probably might die and since I couldn't save myself, I began to panic and I let the negative thoughts in.
This is it! I'm going to die for real! I've never thought I'd die this way but I can't do anything now, can I? I mean, I'm too weak, I can't fight...I can't even save my life! I can't even be independent! I have to rely on someone for safety and because of this, I'm gonna get my life snatched right from my hands!
My whole body had turned blue by now and as I struggle for my last breath, I could feel death slowly dragging me away...and soon...soon, I was going, I was gone//
But wait!
There's this bright light shining at me. What's going on?!
My eyes suddenly pop open and I immediately placed a hand over my chest as I could suddenly breathe again! My lungs were taking in all the air that is needed while I tried to see what was happening because there was the sound of someone getting punched, but I couldn't see because my vision was blurry and all I knew was that I was laying on the floor.
I tried to clear my vision to see what was going on but it just became worst and I began to panic as my world suddenly starts to fade again.
No! Not again!
It was fading real fast and I tried to hold on to something, to someone to save me!
"Help me! Help me, someone! Please!!" I remembered screaming and a moment after felt someone by my side but not long after my whole world went black.
But...before it did I remembered hearing a familiar voice calling my name.

Its in my state, I live in NJ _________________________________ And I've decided that I'll write shorter chapters and try to update daily since I'm out of school for 2 weeks but remember, I have packets to do
