About a week had passed, and Kokichi's symptoms did not get any better. He went to the hospital to get some tests done, but only because Shuichi had forced him to. After a few hours of waiting, the doctor, Dr. Tsumiki, had come back with the results.
A while later, Kokichi had returned home. He needed to inform Shuichi of the results, since he was immensely concerned.
"Shuichi!"
"I was so worried about you!"
"I... I have news."
Shuichi developed a concerned look on his face.
"I'm pregnant."
Shuichi gasped.
"You're what?"
"We're going to have a child together..."
"Wow!"
After a while, they sat down and turned on Netflix. They watched some movies for a while, then Kokichi went outside to smoke again. He had smoked continuously for a long period of time, then went back inside.
"Kokichi, there is something I need to talk to you about. It's important."
"I'm listening!"
"You need to quit smoking."
He stared at Shuichi.
"I mean, I don't really need to if I don't want to..."
"Kokichi, it's bad for the child!" He exclaimed.
"Alright, alright."
