Without Kylo's familiar steps in the hallways, Starkiller seems empty.

You've been training by yourself, absolutely pummeling the punching bag.

Every time it's flung to the floor you imagine how proud Kylo will be of you when he comes back.

You've also slowly been gaining muscle.

Your arms and legs have more meat on them, even more than when you lived on Jakku.

It's been three days since Kylo left.

You miss him, but it's not a constant ache anymore.

It feels as if you have a string tied to him. You can almost always feel what he's feeling.

When you wake up the first emotion running through your mind is excitement and anxiety.

That's odd. I just woke up.

Someone knocks in your door.

"Ma'am. Kylo Ren has landed. His ship is about to disembar-" The stormtrooper is cut off by you sprinting out of your room.

You could care less that your in shorts and an oversized t-shirt. You could care less that your hair is in two messy braids. You could care less that stormtroopers give you weird looks or that the cold is biting at your skin.

All that matters is that Kylo is back. He's back.

As if he senses you, his excitement becomes more palpable.

You skid around one last corner and see him dressed in all black.

His mask is on as usual. People surround him.

His lifts his head up and the two of you lock eyes.

He whispers something to the people and they turn their efforts to two people trailing behind Kylo.

He walks towards you, his boots clicking happily on the linoleum floor.

He grabs your arm and takes you to a secluded hallway.

As soon as your alone, you hug him.

It's a bit uncomfortable because of his armor but it doesn't matter. All that matters is he's back.

"I missed you." You mumble against his chest.

"I uh...missed you to." Kylo says, keeping his arms firmly at his sides.

You sigh and let him go.

"You don't have to lie to me. It's ok if you didn't." You say.

"No, no I did." Kylo rushes out. It's silent for a minute.

"Have you been training?" He asks you.

You nod. "Everyday."

"Good. Soon we'll start lightsaber training."

"Really?" You ask excitedly.

"Really."

The two of you start walking back to the docking bay.

"How did your mission go?" You ask.

"It went fine. Shorter than I expected. The two kids were more than willing to come with me." He says.

"How old are they?" You ask.

"They're both around your age, 16."

"Oh good. I could use some company."

"Am I not good enough for you?" Kylo asks.

You stop walking.

"Why would you ever think that? Of course your good enough for me."

Kylo stops walking to.

"I was just kidding Astrid, calm down."

You feel your face burn up. Your blushing. Really hard.

"Of course. I knew that."

Kylo chuckles and you both arrive at the docking bay.

General Hux is standing at the edge, observing everything.

He barks out orders to the people milling around.

"You! Take those two to the medbay. Make sure they're not hurt." Hux glares at a stormtrooper.

"Yes sir, of course sir."

Hux makes a noise of disgust and rolls his eyes.

"What's wrong General?" Kylo asks.

"Incompetent workers."

"Ah. What a shame."

Hux glares at Kylo.

"Go visit your precious Jedi won't you. You are not needed here."

Hux walks off.

Kylo sighs.

"Let's go to the medbay. You can meet them."

The two of you trudge to the medical center.

You push open the door to havoc.

Nurses are running around with needles and blood tubes.

Doctors with clipboards and stethoscopes swinging from their necks yell things at each other.

"Where are Annie and Matthew?" Kylo yells above the din.

Everyone stops moving.

"Well? Where are they?"

A nurse walks up to the pair of us.

"Follow me sir." She says timidly.

The nurse scampers off to the farthest room in the medbay.

Inside sit two people. One girl and one boy.

The girl has long blonde hair that hangs to her chest and green eyes. The boy on the other hand has brown hair and brown eyes. They look nothing alike.

"Astrid, this is Annie and Matthew. They're Force sensitive. They'll be training with us often."

Annie waves at you. You wave back.

"Where are you two from?" You ask.

"We're from Corellia." Matthew says. "We're best friends."

"Well that's cool." You smile.

"Is there anyone else with you?" Annie asks innocently.

You stiffen. How do you explain to these two that you were kidnapped without making them scared.

"It's just her." Kylo fills in for you.

"Oh." Annie looks sad.

"It's pretty nice here though." You say. "It's cold but other than that, this place is pretty comfortable."

At that, Annie brightens.

"I'm sorry, but we have to leave you two now." Kylo says, laying his hand on your shoulder. "I'll be in to check on you later."

"Bye." You wave at the two. They wave back.

Kylo steers you outside.

"You like them?" He asks.

"Yeah I do like them. They seem fun."

"Good. Meet me in the training room in an hour. We're going to start lightsaber training." Kylo says to you.

You nod and he leaves you, his boots making a familiar clanking sound on the floor.
