Chapter One

RECEIVING A LETTER FROM UNKNOWN

Charlotte's Pov

It's been a day since my parents have left the house. The house feels peace to be honest. I know it's kind of bad to say but I think I'm just telling the truth

There were no shoutings and also broken glasses anywhere. Whenever my parents would fight. They would start throwing things at eachother. There was a time when my parents fight as if it was the end of the world. my father had thrown a vase on me making me almost bleed to death and it was the most horrible experience after the car crash accident

"Charlotte! There's a mail for you!"I heard theresa yell making me confused. I never received a mail before so no wonder there's one now

Dropping the broom on the floor. I walk towards theresa who's infront of the main mansion door. Theresa was the top maid in this mansion and treated me like her own daughter. She had been working here for almost 25 years, since she was 25 years old with her mom. Who later died when she was 27

'Theresa worked with charlotte's parents when she was 25 years old.Then eventually, Theresa's mom who's sick later on died at the age of 52, 2 years after Theresa applied to work at the Pierce so her age now is 50'

"Hi theresa, from who it says?"

"I don't know actually. The guard just knocked on the door and gave it to me. There's your name in the back. Read it and tell me later on"she winked at me making me blush. I grab the envelope and gave her a smile

"Alright. I'll tell you later. But I'll still help you later in cleaning the living room!"i said and run towards my room with a smile on my face. I don't know but I'm feeling excited on opening this

I hope it's good

Arriving at my room, I lock the door first and sat on my bed with my feet hanging on the bed. Opening the envelope I saw a white paper inside

The white paper has 3 initials on the top consisting of D,Z and L. My eyebrows crunch in confusion as I pout and read the letter for me

Dear Bella,

I hope you're the only who's reading this. When you found it love..don't tell it to anybody. Or else I'll come there and punish you. Anyways love...I'm getting you soon so get ready. I'll have you soon... take care baby

Fear run towards down my spine making me drop the letter. I don't know but I felt something big was going to happen which makes my heart beat faster than its usual

A knock came from my door making me flinch and give out a short breath when I heard theresa

I thought it's someone..thank god

"Charlotte? Dear? Are you finish reading the letter? The dinner is ready!"

"Yeah I'm coming! I'll be come downstairs in a min!"

"Alright"

Going beside my bed. I place the letter under my pillow and straightened myself before going downstairs

I need to lie to theresa about the letter or else...
