🍓Chapter 6: Prove it🍓

Visiting every month, week, day... Tom grew angry, lonely, sad, and in every shape of grief he always brought flowers to him.

"You always loved pink ones...."

He grabbed his hand.

"Don't leave me... you won't, right?"

He'd smile softly, seeming hopeless. Tord stayed motionless, his breathing faint, and his hands barely having any warmth. Tom looked at his hands as if they had something on them. Standing up, Tom places a lavender flower crown woven in roses with emerald green stems on Tord's head.

Maybe if I hadn't been afraid of my father, and actually stood up to him..you would be right next to me smiling..

Tom's eyes started to fill with tears, as he smiled at the thought of seeing his smile again.

"Hey Tord? Remember that song that you sang? Yeah, I finished it. So hurry up and open your eyes dammit.."

He checked the time and sighed, standing up and walking out. Leaving the flowers and his hoodie.

With Edd & Matt

"Haa.. hey guys-"
"Tom! We've heard.. do you know why your neighbor did that?"
"A-Actually he's my..he's my boyfriend."
"...and you didn't tell us?!!!"

The two pouted, Edd laughing at Matt's facial expression.

"What Matt's trying to say, next time tell us! Ya big doof!"

They were right, I should've told them showed him off, and kissed him in front the of them..

"N-Next time I'll do so.."

Tord's condition was getting better over the weeks, not once had Tom missed out on checking on him. On some days even Edd or Matt, or even both came to visit as well!!...

Edd looked at Tord, then at Tom.

"Y'know Tom, he looks like a sweetheart. What happened?"

Tom's heart ached.

"I-I said something's I shouldn't have..."

Matt stepped in the conversation..

"Like what?"
"...I said I didn't love him anymore."

The room went silent, the only sound was the monitor.

"Tom-"
"I know. It was dumb. But my dad was in the situation, you guys know how homophobic he is."
"Still, what made you make that mistake?"

He froze, his lips starting to tremble.

"H-He would hurt him..."

They both hugged him. As the nurse walked in.

"Tom? Your here again?"
"Ah- Yes hi."

She waved, walking past him and checking on Tord.

"He should wake up soon, I'm sorry if he doesn't..."

The room went silent again.

Getting a call Tom picks up his phone, his heart beat increased as he jumped out his window, and running towards the hospital.

He's....He's alive...! His mind was racing on what he'd say, what he'd do, and that he'll finally see that smile he's been craving.

With Tord

"E-Excuse me ma'am...why am I alive? O-Or how am I alive?"

The nurse looked at him and smiled.

"A young man by the name of Tom called the ambulance, he saved you!"

No. He didn't. He couldn't have..

Tom arrived, panting as he smiled but Tord looked at him with misery.

"T-Tord!!-"
"Tom...why?"

He walked to him as the nurse left the room. He grabbed his hand only to be yanked away.

"W-Wh-"
"Why did you save me...you said it yourself, you don't love me-"
"GODDAMIT TORD LET ME LOVE YOU..."

Tord's heart raced hearing those words, and seeing Tom tear up.

"T-Tom I didn't-"
"I love you..."

Tom grabbed his hand, firmly holding it.

"Don't you ever fucking forget that..."

Tord's face lit up, tears rolling down his cheeks as he smiled. Nodding.

"Y-Yes...Alr-Alright!"

Tom's lips curled into a smirk, as he pulled Tord close and pressed his lips on to his.

I love you.

Tord stumbles around, being a bit wimpy since he hasn't been awake for a while.

"Toooooom I can't- It's to scary!!"
"Oh shut up."

Tom grabbed his hand and pulled him close.

"You should be scared of me."

Tord's face lit up with a red color, as he looked away.

"Mmph..T-Tom not in p-public.."
"No, I want to show you off. You're mine."
"What's wrong with you! You've never been this way-"
"It's because I love you."

Tord pushed him away smiling and running, Tom following him.

"Oh yeah? Prove it!"
