"It's the only explanation" you said
"Yeah apparently Pitch is getting extra help now since he got dad to join him" Eva said out loud
"Augh he's so stupid" you groaned putting down the paper
"Clearly" Eva said tossing down some cut out newspaper photos of Jack

Eva started walking away when she stopped as North came in
"Y/n! Eva! We need to go!" North shouted grabbing his weapons
"What why? What's happening?" You asked
"Pitch is attacking" North responded as you and Eva looked at each other and left
~a couple minutes later~
"Pitch stop!" Tooth shouted as Pitch was standing on a dark sand cloud surrounded by massive waves of sand
"Why should I? Now I have even more power to take over the world" Pitch said
"Huh?" Tooth said confused
"Well, hello, snowflake" a voice said making you turn around as well as Eva
"Jack?!" You shouted when you saw Jack standing directly in front of you, if not a little too close
"Long time no see huh?" He asked
"You're ..still here?" You asked reaching your hand slowly out for his cheeks when he stopped you by gently grabbing your wrist
"What do you expect? You know i'm under a contract" Jack said
"Jack, please" you said freeing your hand
"What? Go back? As if I could" Jack replied
"You're hurting yourself!" You shouted now tearing up
"And that's my punishment for ever doubting us" Jack responded softly when he put his arms gently around your neck hugging you burrying his face into your shoulders and his arms as you burried your face into his chest hugging back
"Dad?" Eva said softly taking a step close to you two
"Eva?" Jack asked looking up towards her
"It's me.." Eva said now starting to tear up
"I know.." Jack said looking away
"Why did you ever leave? It's been eight years dad" Eva said starting to cry when Jack let go of you and went up to Eva
"I know, I've had doubts over time and it got the best of me, trust me I really do regret it, but I can't take it back" he said softly when Eva threw her arms around him crying out loud
"I love you dad!" She muffled into his jacket making him hug her even tighter
"I love you too" he whispered calming her down immediately
