Amaya, a Princess Royal, is third in line for the throne of the kingdom of Austria. She has no interest in becoming Queen nor does she have any intention to get married. However when her mother the queen was pregnant, they went on a visit to the US and did a conference. However their was an assassination attempt on the Queen however a random lady in the crowd pushed the Queen out of the way and saved her. To repay the woman, she betrothed Amaya to the woman's 2 year older son Cayden. When Amaya turned 17, her mother, older brother Ben, nephew Josh and sister-in-law Juillia took her to America. They sent her to live with her future husband. Heather finds it a hard time to adjust however she knows it's her duty to do what she has been promised to do. During her time there, she learns what real friendships are, how to have fun and that sometimes it's okay to break the rules sometimes.
