"Worlds Apart"

Remember who he is and remember who they are.
Even if he seems normal we're a million worlds apart.
He's so sweet but soon enough he'll see
That our love isn't free.

It's a miracle that someone like him is chasing someone like me.
But soon enough I know we'll surrender to thee.
You who controls his life and can change mine
And I know that no matter what you'll always win.

Even if we want each other
I know that ye shall find someone who's better
Someone who's in the same world as him
Someone who's gained the approval of thee

But if by some miracle we win this fight against you
I still wouldn't be with him if I don't have the approval of thee
Because for me his family is more important than me
Even if he doesn't agree

So if that's how it is then I would just want to spend a few more minutes with him
And that would be my only and last whim
Just a few more minutes to tell him
That even if heaven forbids our love he's still the only one in my dreams

That he'll always be the one I want to be close to
The only one I want to wake up to
The only shoulder I want to put my head on
The only one I want to be with when I'm down

But I should only watch from afar
To make sure a war never restarts
Because of my selfish heart
That would never accept us being apart
