CHAPTER 51: PHOTOGRAPHS

"Wait-- so you're saying that these persons in this photographs are killed by our parents?!" Seulgi eonnie asked in shock. "Nah~ but mostly, by dad and uncle. Anyways, the reason why I called you here for is-- to clarify one of my hunches" I declared, eyeing Yena and Hyewon. "WHUT?" both of them asks in confusion. "Kindly scan these photos and tell me IF you have a relative's photo in that book" I explained, showing my seriousness. Yena were the first one to looked through while flipping the pages, but then Hyewon gestured the duck to stop.

"Do you know that person?" I asks my girlfriend, but she's just staring at a certain photo of a boy, about 4 years old. "Daniel was right all this time" Hyewon said, focusing her gaze at me, her tears started welling. "Hey~ what's wrong?" I cooed, pulling her for a side hug. She instantly hugs me back and cried silently on my shoulder. "If I'm not mistaken-- that was her younger brother" Yena said, rubbing circles on Hyewon's back. "That boy looks very familiar, but I can't figured out where I saw him" Nancy said a little unsure. "He got shot" Yena added. "I felt a deja vu by just seeing his photo" Seulgi eonnie told, biting her bottom lip. "I don't want to jump into conclusions, but I'm 100% sure that this kid wasn't killed by a Kang-- I can prove that by how the picture was taken" I hypothetically said, then Hyewon hugs me tighter. "Good point, but when we found that book-- that photo was already attached in there, so you could be right or wrong in this, Luan" Nancy said in discontent.

"I'm sure about this, McDonie. That photo was only there for some reasons-- I paused, since Hyewon already lifted up her head. Her eyes were swollen, I wipe her tears and kissed her on the forehead. "Then-- who could be his killer?" Yena asked, causing me to smirk. "It could only be one of those three: daddy, uncle or DANIEL, himself" I proclaimed, giving them a glance, each.

Time skipped: [Early in the morning-- Day 4 of Renovation]

"More nails coming through!!!!" Lisa yelled, climbing up the stairs while carrying few boxes of nails. "Thanks Manoban" I said, sticking a nail on the plywood. "No prob. Anyways, Tzu Na is having a tantrums, but Sana is busy helping the wives cooking-- I cut off Lisa's words by hitting the nail's head, multiple times. "I get it Lis, tell Tzuyu I'll be there in a minute. I just need to stuck this up" I rolled my eyes while sticking another nail.

"Hi babe!" I greeted Hyewon and I was about to passed by her figure when she suddenly pulls me closer. "Stargaze, later?" she smiled at me brightly and I automatically nodded my head, smiling back. "See you later babe~" I bid her goodbye, after I kissed her on the forehead. I searched for Tzuyu and saw her shedding her tall figure, under a coconut tree with Tzu Na, holding a coconut in her tiny hands. "Thank God!" Yoda sigh in relief while rocking Tzu Na, gently. I shake my head playfully, seeing how stressed she was.

"Struggling again? Seriously, Tzu?" I smiled, kissing Tzu Na on her head. "This kid is stubborn!" Yoda complains.

Suddenly, the coconut fell down-- "Holy shi--- she didn't finished her words when the baby in her arms started crying. I burst out laughing seeing her in between pain and annoyance. The coconut slipped through Tzu Na's hand and it fell straight to Yoda's toes. HAHAHAHA. I shake my head again and carried the baby in my arms. "Shhh~" I softly said, rocking Tzu Na. "If she wasn't my baby? I'd already threw her in the ocean! Geez~ My toes" Tzuyu whines, pressing her toes. I could only giggle at the sight of her while trying to stop Tzu Na from crying.

"Check her diaper, idiots" Jennie said, before passing by our figures, while carrying Ji Ni in her arms.

Fast Forward: [Few hours passed-- at the beach]

"MINE!" I said in a calm way while setting the ball up. "I'm going to kick your ass out, if the ball goes out!" Jisoo warned Lisa. "Take this!" the monkey shouted, spiking the ball to our opponent's side. "TENG! OUT! Team Iz*One, score!" Sana excitedly said, adding a score to them. "I can't believe it" Rosie massages her temple, glaring at the monkey. "That was just 1 point, focus!" I reminded my team, but I saw a glimpse of Wonyoung and Yujin, smirking.

"Guard the back line, Jisoo. Jennie be alert, Yujin might hit the middle since you're in the front, she could easily do a quick attack. Lisa, Rosie, be the towers and make sure to blocked their attacks" I instruct them and we immediately positioned ourselves. "How about me, eonnie?" Yeri suddenly voiced out and I mentally facepalm. I almost forgot about her. "Just get the ball and be the decoy" I stated, eyeing the ball in Chaeyeon's hand.

Once Chaeyeon serves the ball to our side, Jennie digged and set the ball to Rosie. "Mine" Yeri said, and I eyed Wonyoung. She's guarding the attacks from the front line. "Do a freeball" I suggested, then Yeri obeyed. It landed on Yena, the duck tossed it up and Yuri receives the ball, sending it back to us, specifically to Jisoo. "YN, do a running attack" Rosie suggested, once Jisoo set the ball to Jennie, mandu tossed it up and I run quickly, targeting Yena's spot.

"Ready for cover!" Yujin said while Yena tried to save the ball. "TENG! BP SCORED!" Sana said in a high pitch voice, followed by Joo Gi and Seul Hyun's cheering.

"Yah! FOCUS!?" My girlfriend groans to the other side, but I could only smirk at how cute she was when she's focused. "Nako eonnie is better than you duck!" Yuri spat which Yena scoffs in disbelief. "Time out! Time out!" Wonyoung raises her hand which Hyewon automatically face palm. "Not now maknae, Luan is still in the middle. Wait for them to rotate" Eunbi said something but not enough for me to hear.

"Looks like Eunbi eonnie is planning something~" Lisa nudges my side while wiggling her eyebrows. "Who ever missed the hit, will do a dare" I proclaimed, positioning myself while eyeing Yujin's spot, hearing some groans from my teammates.

A/N: HOW is it gays/guys? Sorry for not updating that much. I've been suffering from loneliness these past days, so it was kinda hard for me to think of a better plot. But, no worries~ I think, I'm feeling good now. I'll try to get back on tracks~ but this quarantine made me loose all of my imaginative BRAINCELLS 👉🏿😠
