"y/nnn! get up! we need to go to bunnings!" your dad screamed as he opened the door to your room

"do i have to come?" you replied

"yes come on get ready!" he said as he opened the window

"can we get a coffee on the way?" you asked him

"fine" he said as he walked back out of your room

it was quite a cold day in sydney where you lived and you decided to put on you face to face hoodie you got from your favourite human ruel, on top of a plain white tshirt

you loved ruel and his music, you were a stan

you paired to hoodie with a pair of black tights and your vans

"i'm ready" you said as you walked downstairs to where your dad was

"do we need to stop by to get coffee-" your dad said as you cut him off

"dad seriously?" your said to him as he chuckled

"let's go then" he said as you walked to the car

you got your iced coffee on the way to bunnings like you were promised

"do i have to get out of the car?" you asked you dad

"um yeah! i need you help" he said in a funny tone

"okay okay" you replied with a laugh

there wasn't anything interesting in bunnings for you, you just followed around your dad

then you saw someone familiar in one of the aisles

"dad..." you whispered

"what?" he asked as he looked at the different paint colours

"i think that's ruel" you said to him

"go and say hi" dad replied as he grabbed a sample of the paint

"are you kidding?" you replied

"yeah why not? you like him don't you?" your dad said

"yeah but i'm not going up to him" you said as you walked with your dad into another aisle

you overheard some people talking further down in your aisle, also looking at the paints

"ruel, i think i saw someone wearing your merch" a female voice said in a sort of whisper

"great, how do they always find me? like seriously give me a break" he said to the girl, who you now know was coco by quickly looking at the pair

"ruel it's probably just a coincidence" coco said to him

"coco, they always find me, they're constantly stalking me" he said annoyed

"wow i'm a stalker?" you said as you pushed passed the pair

"y/n!" your dad said as he tried to call you back over but it was no use

"wait what? that's not what i meant" the boy said as he pushed his hands though his hair

"way to go ruel" coco said as she followed you into the car park

"are you okay?" coco said as she grabbed your arm while you tried to leave the shop

"yep, i'm just fine" you replied to her as a tear slipped out of you eye

"don't worry about him, he knows you weren't stalking him" coco justified

"then why did he say it? it really doesn't matter" you said as you freed yourself from the blond girls girl and walked away

"common y/n!" ruel said coming out of the shop
