Jeongin ran a hand through his hair before folding his arms and glaring at his clothes, willing them to make the choice for him.

He groaned and sat down on the floor before his closet.

He had never been on a proper date with anyone before in all his nineteen years of life and with this being his first date, he had absolutely no idea what to wear nor what to do. To make matters worse, he was riddled with endless questions mainly due to the fact that his idol, Hwang Hyunjin, was the one that he was going on a date with.

A soft knock was heard on his door. "Come in," he said and in came Woojin with a cup of tea in his hands. Jeongin raised an eyebrow at him, wondering why the older boy had brought tea to his room.

Woojin saw Jeongin sitting down on the floor and couldn't help but smile - he looked so much like a child in that instance.

Woojin approached Jeongin and sat down on the floor next to him. "Can't decide what to wear?" he asked, handing the cup of tea to Jeongin. When he hesitated to take it, Woojin sighed. "It's for you. Tea is supposed to be calming."

Jeongin nodded and took the cup of warm tea from Woojin. As he sipped on the tea, he felt his worries slowly wash away, each doubt and question he had in his mind disappearing.

Suddenly, a loud scream erupted from downstairs and soon enough, a tired Felix stood by his door, holding out his hand as he tried to catch his breath followed by a mildly panicked Jisung and a calm Seungmin.

"He's here by the way," Seungmin said matter of factly before leaving.

"Why aren't you dressed?" Felix shouted, rushing over to Jeongins' closet and picking out an outfit for him while Jeongin sat paralysed in his place.

Hwang Hyunjin was there. Model Hwang Hyunjin who he idolised was there. He was going on a date with Hwang Hyunjin.

Once the realisation hit him, he too started screaming with Felix as they hurriedly tried to pick an outfit for him while Woojin sat on the bed next to Jisung.

"Are they always this loud?"

Seungmin nodded as he placed a glass of water before Hyunjin.

"Hyung! I'm not wearing this!" a voice who he assumed belonged to Jeongin objected. "No! No! Get off me right now hyu-"

Jeongin had been pushed out of the room and once Hyunjin lay eyes on him, he felt his heart skip a beat.

Like a scene from every cliche movie, Jeongin stood at the top of the stairs but instead of wearing some gown for prom, he was wearing an oversized blue sweater, black pants and, the accessories he had so loudly objected to, a light blue beret and a white fox pin pinned to his sweater.

Felix lightly urged him to keep walking but Jeongin couldn't - how could he when at the bottom of the stairs stood his idol?

"Oh, for fucks sake! Go for your date already!" Seungmin said, going up the stairs and dragging Jeongin down himself, much to his objection.

When he got down, Seungmin left him right in front of Hyunjin before going up the stairs again as Woojin pushed Jisung and Felix into a different room to give the two boys some time to talk on their own, much to Felix's dismay. Seungmin followed them into the room and soon enough, the pair were left alone.

"I finally got to meet you in real life." Hyunjin was the first to break the silence, a smile immediately forming on his face as he saw how the younger boy kept his head down, looking at his black sneakers. "Innie, are you shy?"

Jeongin nodded slowly, still refusing to look up. He could feel his cheeks burning from embarrassment as the older let out a soft laugh, making Jeongin blush even further.

Jeongin felt warm hands placed on his already burning cheeks and soon enough, he was looking up at Hyunjin, their eyes meeting and the space between them becoming almost nonexistent.

"The picture that Chae showed me really didn't do you justice," he paused, gently moving Jeongin's head side to side before making him face him again. "You're so much cuter here than in the photo."

If his face were burning before, now it was literally on fire.

"You-you can't say things like that!" he muttered, trying his best to break free from his grasp but failing. Hyunjins' smile grew wider as he raised an eyebrow at him.

"And why's that?" He stepped even closer, his hands still on Jeongins' face.

"Be-because!" Jeongin stammered, his mind coming to a blank when Hyunjin asked him a question.

Hyunjins' hands fell from his face as he took a step back to properly look at the boy before him.

"Because?"

Jeongin had no idea how to respond so instead he huffed and folded his arms which made Hyunjin pat his head almost immediately, as if on instinct. "So, Yang Jeongin, will you go on a date with me?"

"Wh-why're you asking me so formally?"

Hyunjin shrugged. "Out of courtesy? By the way, say yes so I don't look like a complete idiot in front of your hyungs."

"In front of my wha-" Jeongin turned around to find Jisung, Felix, Seungmin and Woojin looking down at them from the top of the stairs with Felix and Jisung sitting down on the steps, Woojin trying to drag them back into the room and Seungmin leaning over the railing, his head in his hands.

Felix realised that Jeongin had turned around and raised his hands up as if surrendering. "Don't mind us!"

Jeongin, at the peak of embarrassment, grabbed Hyunjins' hand and dragged him out the door after he yelled a quick goodbye to his roommates.

Once outside, his hand was about to let go of Hyunjins' when Hyunjins' fingers hurriedly wrapped around his hand, causing Jeongin to look up at him. He realised that there was a light tinge of pink across his face and he couldn't help but smile at the thought that he, a mere fanboy, had made Hyunjin blush.

But then the realisation dawned upon him - Hwang Hyunjin was refusing to let go of his hand.

And so, they both walked to Hyunjins' car, already blushing messes before their date had even properly begun.
