"Mom?" Cheryl knocked on the door of the Spellman's Mortuary.

It was late at night, and Cheryl had not eaten or even sat down in hours since she had left Riverdale.

A light turned on in the house, as Cheryl braced herself for what was about to happen next.

A bubbly blonde opened the front door, "May I help you, dear?"

Cheryl had tears in her eyes as she took her hood off, "Aunt Hilda, it's me, Cheryl."

"Oh my word!" Hilda gasped as she embraced the girl, "What are you doing here?" As Cheryl walked in, Hilda sighs, "I'll go fix you something to eat…"

Cheryl looked around as she sat down on the sofa.

As Hilda fixed Cheryl a plate of spaghetti and a cup of cherry soda, she couldn't help but think about the day that Cheryl left.

It was a stormy night, Zelda had gotten Cheryl  to the car. "Are you sure about this?" Hilda asked.

"It's the only way to protect her…" Zelda looks at the sleeping redheaded three year old in the back of the car, "The Blossoms are a well of family, she'll be living in comfort… I just pray to Satan that she'll be safe."

"What are you doing here?!" Zelda gasped, as she sees the younger redhead sitting in the couch.

Cheryl wiped her tears away before looking at Zelda, "I'm home, mum."

"What happened?" Zelda asked.

Cheryl simply said, "I've had enough…"

"So you thought you could just run here?" Zelda demanded, "Cheryl, I brought you to Riverdale for your safety."

Cheryl sighs, "Fine! I'll be outta here tomorrow; and you won't have to see me ever again…"

Ambrose was walking down the stairs, when he bumped into Cheryl. Cheryl shoved him out of the way as she ran upstairs.

*First, I'd like to say, that this chapter being this day is total coincidence, I wrote this a little over a month ago… Anyways, happy mother's day!
