BILLIE HAD BEEN FULL OF SURPRISES LATELY. First, she had invited Fallon to the last show of the tour which took place in Mexico City. Not to mention that Billie had pulled her on stage to perform, 'Everything I Wanted' for the first time live to her.

Then, Billie had taken her to Laguna Beach when they had arrived home, even though they were both completely exhausted from traveling. Billie thought that spending the little time of day light that they had on the beach would of been romantic. And it was.

They spent the entire evening just trailing the shore line together, their hands were intertwined while their other hand was holding onto their footwear. There were sand in their toes but that was the least of their worries as they walked together until three in the morning.

Fallon felt happy but she knew that if she told Billie the truth, that she could let herself be happier than what she was in that moment. They had promised each other that there would be no more secrets kept between them, to tell the truth regardless what the other would feel.

All Fallon could think about was someone else's hands wandering her body while Billie and her laid down on a blanket that was sitting over the sand. The crashing water against the shore, and the hushed whispers of people laughing somewhere nearby was all that they could hear.

Fallon's phone was buzzing away from notifications, while Billie had turned hers off after she had posted the photo of them together in a completely different area of the beach. Fallon grabbed her phone from her pocket, looking at the screen that illuminated from another notification of someone liking Billie's comment.

"Why would you say those things?" Fallon smiled softly at her phone as Billie turned her head away from the stars in the sky, looking directly at Fallon's face.

"Say what things?" she questioned her, turning her body so she was now laying on her side instead of her back.

"Asking me to marry you on social media." Fallon felt her cheeks heat up with just the mention of the comment. She had just thought that Billie was probably throwing some laughs but when she didn't joke about it after she wrote it, it made Fallon's mind wonder. "That's going to be on every news site now."

Billie bit down on to her bottom lip while her blue eyes gazed at Fallon's face. Remembering every little thing about her structure to engrave it into her mind like this would be the last time she would see her. Or maybe it was because how good she looked with the moon lighting up her features from the sky.

"What would you say if I did ask you to marry me?" Her words could barely be heard over the crashing waves, almost like she wasn't even asking Fallon her opinion on the question.
