| LUCY AND PETUNIA'S APARTMENT |
"Who was that??" Lucy asks as Helena gets off the phone.
"It was Lyric. Using Melody's number." Helena explains, getting up to leave.
"Wait, Helena-what if something bad is gonna happen? Shouldn't you at least grab something, like bat-plugs or something?" Lucy asks, grabbing onto Helena like Selina did earlier, but more panicked.
"I'll be fine, Lucy. I'll figure out what's going on and come right back." Helena replies, giving her an easy smile.
"But what if you don't?" Lucy replies, stubbornly. Lucy was the cautious one of the group (probably didn't help that paranoia came from Joker's abuse).
"I will-"
"Helena." Lucy interrupted sternly and Helena sighed.
"Alright, fine. I'll go grab my stuff and go to Melody's apartment." Helena announces as she leaves.
"You'll thank me later!" Lucy calls out as the door closes behind her.

|WAYNE MANOR|
"Can't we come?" Helena's niece, Charlotte Drake, asks her as Helena suits up in the Batcave.
"Ha! No, absolutely not. It's just a short mission. And I don't want to get yelled at by my brothers because I couldn't keep my nieces safe." Helena explains as she sticks a comm into her ear.
Mary Grayson, her other niece groans in disappointment as Sandra Todd pouts.
"But just once-" Mary begins.
"Hey! Cardinal, Batgirl, Robin-snap out of it! I am not taking you with me and that's final. I am, however, letting you take control of the Batcomputer while I'm there, so be grateful for that." Helena scolds her nieces, calling them by their hero names. Sandra rolls her eyes and Helena sighs.
She's so much like Jason. She thinks as she gets on her bike and speeds out of the Batcave.

|MELODY'S APARTMENT|
When Helena arrives, she doesn't find Lyric there... but she does nearly hit Melody with the front door. Only a few inches away lay her mother and her "uncles" if she could even call them that.
Stepping over Melody's body, Helena shakes her mom awake.
"Hey, mom! You alright?" Helena asks in a whisper.
"Mmm... I don't know." Her mother groans, slowly getting up and holding her head like she's got a headache coming on.
"What happened here?" Helena prodded as Selina looked at her friends surrounding her on the floor.
"Lyric came to Gotham and well... you can figure out the rest." Melody murmurs as Helena turns to see she gets up to. Scarecrow, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Riddler and Mad Hatter start getting up too from what she can hear.
"Whatever the hell happened, we were right. Lyric is not to be trusted." Jonathan proclaims and his voice makes Selina jump. Melody frowns at that explanation.
"Did I scare you, Selina?" Johnathan asks as an afterthought.
"A little. Why? I thought The Master of Fear would enjoy that." Selina replies dryly as she stands up.
"Music Mister was seen in security footage down by the lobby." Charlotte comms from the Batcave, making Helena's eyes go wide.
"What is it?" Melody asks.
"I have to go." Helena replies.
"Where??" Selina prods, annoyed by her daughter running away all the time. Helena sighs.
"I have to go and check if Lyric is still in the area."
"Fine, then I'm coming with you. I'm not going to stand around and wait for you to be battered and bruised." Helena thinks about that before relenting.
"Ok. Fine."
"Will you be ok?" Melody questions.
"I've got claws for a reason, Melody. I'll be just fine." Selina quips, making Ivy secretly smirk as the cat burglar and the bat make their way out of the apartment.
