Big chapter
I ended my shift and closed the café. I was already feeling bad since I promised my mom I would be home early and here I am, still on my way to the bus, knowing that there won't be any bus since it's so late.
Why am I going to the bus stop?
Because I wanna see her. She made me so curious that I just can't stop thinking about Jennie.
Suddenly, my phone started buzzing:
- Hi mom - I sighed
- Hey sweetie! Where are you?
- I lost the bus - she didn't ask if it was on purpose, right?
- Ah... That's a shame..
- Why don't you seem upset?
- 'Where can I put this' - I heard a man's voice
I gasped:
- OH my God No Way! He's in our house! That's why you're not upset!
- Okay okay! Guilty as charge - my mom chuckled
I genuinely smiled:
- Don't worry, I'll take my time
- Okay but take care please. Love you
- I will, love you too - I hang up the phone
I continued walking with my hands in my pockets and with my cold breath filling the air.
Will she be there? Or am I just walking in a scary street alone to meet with an empty bus stop?
Before I could think any longer, a black tiny person catched my eye.
She came
I started walking towards her but, suddenly, a tall figure blacked my view.
I looked up and saw a man in his late 40's. My guy feeling told me to run and all alarms went off due to his aspect.
He was wearing a black old coat and dirty Grey pants. He had greasy black hair, googly eyes, a badly shaved beard and yellow teeth:
- Hello - he smiled widely and a weird smile filled my nosetrills
- Excuse me - I tried reaching the bus stop but he stepped in front of me
Oh gosh
- Where are you going, princess?
- I need to meet my friend - I pointed to where Jennie was and my heart stopped beating for a second
- There's no one there - I started walking backwards - Why are you lying to me?!?
His screams echoed through the dark and empty street. In a sudden move, he grabbed my arm:
- You're hurting me! - I said and tried to shove him away
- I'm a man and I can do whatever I want to a women! - he laughed maniacally - Let's go, come with me, we have a lot to do baby
- Get away from her - a husky voice was heard behind the man
Both of us looked at the person and I felt relief:
- Mind your own business - he squeezed my arm
Jennie didn't move, she just sighed:
- You don't want me to do this, and I don't wanna do this
- What the fuck are you talking about?!? - he started dragging me away - I don't care, let's go
