"What the..." he mumbled as he brought a finger to his nose. He looked at it, his eyes widening as blood stained his skin.

"Wow, that punch fucked you up pretty badly. Let's get you to Y/N's house." Harrison nodded as he took Tom's shoulder. Tom returned the nod, tears pricking his eyes as he let Harrison walk him back to his car.

Y/N's P.O.V

I sat in my kitchen, scrolling through my phone and drinking my coffee as I waited for Tom and Harrison to get back from lunch.

"Y/N!" my eyes widened slightly as I heard the front door open, followed by Harrison's panicked voice. My eyebrows furrowed and I jumped down from the counter before moving through the house. My eyes widened again.

"What the fuck happened?" I scoffed as I saw Tom's bloodied face, his lip split and blood running out of his nose.

"We ran into Caleb. Whilst we were talking about the two of you kissing." Harrison admitted. My eyes widened.

"What?" I choked. Tom and Harrison looked at each other as they sighed.

"Yeah, sorry. I think you guys are over." Harrison mumbled. I gulped, wiping away the tear that had fallen as I took Tom's hand and started to pull him towards the bathroom, making his eyes widen.

"Y/N, what are you doing-."

"Cleaning you up. Haz, get me ice, please, Tom's eye will bruise if we don't reduce the swelling." I spoke, making Harrison nod and disappear into the kitchen as I pulled Tom into the bathroom.

"Sit." I demanded, pointing to the counter. He sighed and jumped up onto the counter, watching me and swinging his legs slightly as I collected what I'd need to clean him up. I gulped, trying to avoid eye contact as I grabbed a cotton ball and stood in between his legs. I finally brought my gaze up to his eyes, my heart jumping as he was already staring at me intently. I gently dabbed the cotton ball against his nose, making him hiss.

"Sorry." I whispered.

"I should be the sorry one. I didn't mean to break you and Caleb up." He mumbled.

"You sure about that?" I muttered, a tear leaving my eye as I was unable to bite my tongue for any longer. Tom looked at me.

"What's that supposed to mean?" he scoffed.

"It means that you somehow manage to sabotage every relationship that I'm in, whether you mean to, or not." I gulped. His eyes widened.

"Now hold on one second-."

"Because no matter who I date, no matter who I'm with, it'll always be you, Tom, it'll always be you." I nodded. He stared at me with wide eyes.

"What will always be me?" he mumbled. I gulped, tears rolling down my cheek, as what I was about to say would either make or break our relationship.

"The guy that I'm in love with." I admitted quietly. Tom's eyes wavered.

"You're in love with me?" he mumbled. I bit my lip and looked down.

"Hey, look at me." He muttered, gently taking my face in his hands and raising it so that I was forced to look into his eyes. I gulped, terrified of what he would say next. A small smile danced on his lips as he studied my face, his gaze flicking between my lips and my eyes.

"You have no idea how long I have waited for you to admit that. Because I'm in love with you too, Y/N." he admitted. My eyes widened and I choked at the confession.

"And if you want me, then I'm yours." He nodded, staring into my eyes with his stunning doe ones.

"I want you, Tom." I mumbled, my voice barely above a whisper. He smiled and bit his lip before leaning in and pressing our lips together. I returned it immediately, holding his face and smiling into it as his hands curled around my waist, pulling me further in between his legs and more against his body. I couldn't help but smirk as Tom deepened the kiss, gently slipping his tongue into my mouth as he did. I squealed against his lips as he suddenly jumped down from the counter, keeping our lips together as he turned us around and pushed on my hips, making me sit there instead as he stood in between my open legs and gripped my hips.

"Wait, wait." I gulped, breaking the kiss.

"What's wrong, darling?" he asked, looking into my eyes as he gently cupped my cheek. I sighed and looked at him.

"Every time we kiss, something in the situation has meant that it's not meant what a kiss is supposed to mean, or one of us has thought it hasn't. I love you, Tom, but if this is just another time where we somehow go back to being just best friends after it, I can't do it. I'm sorry, but I can only take so much." I whispered, shaking my head. Tom nodded, biting his lip as he gently cupped my face.

"Trust me, love. There's no way that I'm going back to being just best friends after this." He reassured. I laughed and nodded, making him smile as he leant in and kissed me again.
