"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" Hector questioned, leaning up against a tree with his arms crossed over his chest. A sigh escaped Sypha's lips as she averted her gaze towards him. She currently sat upon a large root, her elbows propped up against her knees. She'd been thinking nonstop about the events that just took place, not even 20 minutes ago.
"Hunting," the brunette lied straight through her teeth.
Hector narrowed his eyes slightly, "Which spot did you go to?" She let out another sigh as she turned her attention upon the sunlight that peeked through the tops of the dark trees.
"Oh, you know, the spot we always go. By the stream..." The blonde vampire could see right through her lies.
"How about the Woodland Palace? Did you find anything there?" Fuck. Her jig was up.
"You followed me?" she asked, sounding quite annoyed.
"What were you doing with that halfling, Sypha? Why did you go into the Elven Realm?"
She rolled her head sideways to look at him, "First of all, that halfling has a name. It's Bilbo." Hector cocked an eyebrow at this. "And to answer your second question—I was helping him out of the goodness of my heart."
