"ARE YOU MAD? THEY'LL FIND US!" Dwalin whisper-yelled towards Bilbo.

"—No, no. They won't, I promise you," the hobbit tried to reason, "Please. You must trust me." Though, the dwarves weren't having any of it. They all turned towards one another, deciding to ignore him as they murmured amongst themselves. Bilbo turned towards Thorin as a last resort, silently asking him for help.

"Do as he says," Thorin ordered, causing the dwarves to immediately obey. They all began to pile into the wooden barrels, bickering and pushing one another as they did.

"Move your big ginger head," Dwalin snapped towards Bombur. Once they were all situated inside their barrels, they stuck their heads out to look at Bilbo.

"What do we do now?" Bofur asked.

"Hold your breath," Bilbo told them, beginning to make his way over towards a large lever and wrapping his hands around it.

Bofur furrowed his eyebrows, "Hold my breath? What do you mean?" The hobbit used all of the strength he possessed to pull the lever, and before anyone could say anything else, the barrels started rolling sideways off of the platform. The dwarves yelled out as they all went tumbling into the water below. Bilbo smiled brightly in satisfaction because his plan had worked. Though, his smile didn't last long as the platform raised back up into it's rightful position.
