Unhappy

Everyone looked so happy. Pin, Coiny, Eggy, Clock, Cake, Needle, and even that damn Firey. They all slept so peacefully together, like they've been doing this since their lives began. And here she was, unable to sleep and laying on Eggy, sweat dripping down her face.

Nervousness. She didn't know what to do or what to say. The Losers were drastically different from BEEP. They were a lot more kind and had a clear leader. For the most part they didn't need one person to help carry them or boss them around.

She just felt out of place in this team.

Her whole life, she had tried to Target and make friends with people who would or want her help. Cause she was only really truly happy if she was helping somebody. And on this team, she can't.

But, they actually somewhat like her, so maybe she should calm down and be rational.

What is better? A team that you feel out of place in and accepts you, or a team that doesn't accept you but you rule over?

The answer should seem obvious. Then why does she miss that old team?

There was some mumbling coming from the other side of the team. (Her team is sleeping together, in a straight line)

Leafy peeked around the corner. Coiny was shifting his body a bit in the other side. He grumbled as he did so.

Leafy flinched back and layed herself down in a way that she was pretending to sleep.

She could hear Coiny get up and stretch. "Ow." He said.

Probably touched Pin's spike. She could hear him walking closer to her side. Her left hand started to shake a bit. She kept her eyes closed.

Coiny let out a confused "Huh?" And he stopped walking. Now she was really nervous. "How come Cake isn't burnt?" He mumbled.

Oh thank God. "Leafy?"

She flinched. Shit.

She opened her eyes, and looked at him. "H...Hi..?"

Coiny eyed her. "Leafy, what have you been doing? It looks like you haven't slept in ages!

Leafy giggled nervously. "You're right.." she muttered.

Coiny says down between Eggy and her. "So what's been going on then? Tell me?"

Leafy sighed. "I'm fine."

Coiny frowned. "No you aren't."

"Yes I am. There is nothing to talk about." She smiled. Fake.

"Leafy, I'm not dumb. I've known you for ten years, and I can tell when you're upset or not. Now just tell me." Coiny crossed his arms.

Leafy groaned. "I'm just.. not good at talking to people."

"I don't care! I'm not one to judge." A bit of a lie. It's object nature to judge other objects. Can't avoid it.

Leafy stood up. "It's fine, Coiny. I'm alright."

Coiny grabbed her hand and dragged her back down. "Leafy, talk to me."

Leafy frowned. "No!" She growled. "Stop being so nosy!" She yanked her hand away, and ran off.

"Leafy!" He called out. She kept running. His hand slumped down. "Damnit."

Behind him, Eggy says, "Hey, no cursing. It's Sunday."
