This book is for you, transient.
Yes, you.
Thank you, for bearing the weight of the world on your shoulders and still pretending to be okay.
Thank you, for holding in all your sorrows and still smiling.
Thank you, for courageously carrying the mountains you were supposed to cross.
And thank you, for silently overcoming hardships each day, everyday.
You know that feeling, when you want and want and want something so bad that at some point you become too selfish, blind and greedy, because looking around and seeing the people get hold of what you're struggling every second to have so easily, it hurts. This feeling is something that you know takes over you slowly and steadily, but there's nothing you can do about it. You can just sit and wait for it to leave, like the fingers that left yours till there was nothing but emptiness for you to hold, like the wind that blows the last leaf away. Like the end, to every beginning.
Thank you, for waiting- for being patient, and growing through it all.
The ups and downs,
The highs and lows,
The odds and evens;
You've made it.
For all of this, thank you so much.
This book tells your story;
Of losing and finding,
Breaking and blooming,
Hurting and healing.
Because in the end, we're all transients,
Looking for a place to stay,
Little knowing,
That in each other we'd find home.
