Before I could tell her, she interrupted me. "Never deleted. Always had it for safekeeping. See you later Camila." With that, Y/n waved goodbye and left. And I was just there, standing. I was trying my best to process what Y/n had just said. "She kept it?" I whispered to myself. I didn't realize it, but something inside of me felt warm when I heard that. I really miss her.
Third Person POV
Once Y/n left the library, she headed towards her 1st period and tried her best to study. She didn't really mind the little situation she had this morning. Camila didn't know this, but Y/n missed Camila as well. She was kind of the few people in the world that knew her before everything before she was Tracer. Y/n knew that she could never fully explain to Camila why she got so distant in the past, but maybe she can change the future.
Olivia POV
It was already halfway through the day. Kathryn and I were walking to the eating quarters when we noticed a commotion happening in the middle of the hallway. "What's happening?" Kathryn just shrugged. Being curious, we made our way to the inside of the circle. The sight was certainly something her and I expected.
Right in the middle was Austin Mahone and Brad Simpson. They looked like they were fighting each other. It was obvious when you saw their bruised cheeks and knuckles. "You're fucking dead meat," Austin said as he wiped the blood on the side of his lip. "Try me." Austin then pushed Brad directly towards me. I held my hands out to stop Brad from toppling on to me. But Austin was quick to think and immediately tried to land another punch on to Brad's face. Brad dodged it at last second, however, my hands were still on Brad's back. With little time to think, I closed my eyes and tried my best to dodge it too. I braced for a punch, but it never came.
I slowly opened my eyes to a completely new sight. Y/n was right in the middle of the two boys. Her foot was on Brad's back, making sure he stayed down on the floor while her left hand had a hold on Austin's fist. She made sure to hold it at his back waist so he wouldn't try anything.
"This isn't your fucking fight," Austin said in a groan. Y/n must've had a tight hold on him. "You made it mine when you almost punched Olivia," Y/n said in a serious tone. She looked pissed and not in a good way.
"Now, I want both of you to get out the fucking hallway before the hall monitors come. Do you understand me?" With no response, Y/n got more pissed. She tightened her hold on Austin and had pressed harder into Brad. "Am I fucking clear you dumbasses?"
They groaned in agreement, which made Y/n let go. Brad quickly got up and went through the crowd. Austin did the same and went the opposite direction. Soon, the crowd dispersed with them.
Before I could say anything, Y/n had walked up to me and held my face. She observed it, making sure there were no marks from Austin or Brad. She let go once she saw nothing. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I just feel caught off guard." Y/n nodded and took a deep breath. "I'm gonna meet you up at our table, I need to cool down for a minute." I nodded my head in an understanding way.
When it comes to the Sixers, Y/n does not mess around with our safety. It's her #1 priority in the world. If any of us were to get hurt, she would take it personally. Any person that would remotely cause us harm, would automatically be on her list. Let's just say all the people that made it, were later crossed off the list. I don't think you need to ask what happened though. We shouldn't talk about it.
Third Person POV
There was talk about what had happened in the hallway. People were amazed at how quick Y/n's reactions were. Those that actually witnessed it were perplexed at how Y/n could stop Austin's punch midway and then quickly managed to shove Brad on the ground. It was almost something that could come out of a superhero movie.
However, there were a certain pair of eyes that Y/n didn't realize was watching. Camila had stumbled upon the crowd just as Olivia and Kathryn made their way to the middle. Camila had stood on the nearby bench and saw Y/n shove her way to the middle before catching Austin's hand midway. She was certainly amazed at the sight of it. Y/n was fast, like really fast. Something she never really saw in their younger years.
"She's changed a lot," Camila whispered to herself. "Who changed a lot?" Normani asked as she sat down next to Camila. The rest of the girls followed suit and sat at their normal spots at the cafeteria. "Y/n." At the sound of her name, all the girls' head peaked in interest. "What makes you say that?" Lauren asked.
"There was a commotion in the hallway before lunch," Camila started off with. She was still trying her best to wrap her head around it. "I heard about that. Wasn't Brad and Austin fighting?" Dinah said.
Camila nodded. "Yeah, but that's when Y/n comes in. Olivia was in the crowd and Austin was about to punch her on accident. He was aiming for Brad, but Brad dodged it. Then Y/n comes in like the Flash and stops Austin's punch midway."
"Wow, never knew Y/n could do that." All the girls thought about it for a moment. They did miss her, more than they could ever admit. "But on a different note...I'm going to meet up with Y/n after school."
"Really?!" Lauren was the one to comment this time. She loved Y/n just as much as Camila does. In middle school, Lauren and Y/n had this weird emo phase but it did bring out a lot of interesting thoughts, music, and passion in both of them. Lauren found out that she loved to write poetry and art. She loved turning some of the saddest things to some of the most beautiful things on Earth.
"Yeah, her and I bumped into each other earlier before school. Actually, I kind of toppled over her and we were both on the floor. I was like this close to her face," Camila said while showcasing just how close they were.
"Be careful, don't want to throw off your secret admirer now." Ally jokingly said.
Oh, did I forget to mention, there was already somebody else that was in love with Camila. But who?
