Simulation (TMR)

Newt was still processing what had been said when the door swung open.

The two boys frantically ran behind the door.

Teresa and Janson appeared out in the hallway. Janson was explaining what he had explained to Newt. How everything was fake.

"And all your "dead" friends are still alive." Janson concluded. "Alby and Newt for example." He seemed to project his voice out. They had been caught.

"Alby and Newt?" Teresa asked.

"Yes." Janson said, "I know you two followed me and are hiding, come introduce yourself to Teresa, will you?"

"Shuck." Newt muttered quietly, he and Alby stepping out from the door.

Teresa seemed to examine them and see that they were fine, "I guess you weren't lying."

"So in a year if the others have not awoken from the Simulation, we will stop it."

"What?" Teresa asked.

"You thought you had been in the Simulation for three years or more, but it was actually only one. We will give the remaining subjects one year and if they are still in the Simulation they will be taken out and given the chance to live a normal life."

"What about your cure?" Newt asked.

"We are very, very close." Janson said. "We would take the subjects out now, but we need to analyze things just a but more. It should be completed within the next year, hopefully before."

The cure for the Flare has been found thanks to WICKED and their Simulation trials. Thomas, Minho, and Gally produced the right things the scientists needed to finish the cure. Millions all over the world have been cured. WICKED had succeeded. It was now time to take the remaining subjects out of the Simulation.

SONYA HARRIET AND ARIS

Sonya was confused. She had been talking to Harriet and Aris when her vision had gone blurry and she had woken up on a gray, metal table.

She slowly sat up and looked around. She ripped a small needle out of her arm and looked closer at the room.

A blank screen was above her and machines to her right.

Just as Sonya was about to get up and see what was going on, the door opened.

"Hey Lizzy." A familiar, accented voice said.

Somehow, Sonya knew how to respond.

"Hey big brother."

Harriet felt like she had awoken from some sort of bad dream. Her mind was fuzzy and she had no idea what was going on.

She ignored the contents of the room and walked out the door, seeing the room across from her labeled "Aris."

The first thing Aris saw was the door. It swung open to reveal the second thing Aris saw.
