Chapter 24

Honeymoon Part I

Medyo bordering ng SPG... Patnubay ay kailangan

It is every young girl’s dream to be just like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, or all the other Disney Princesses who found their Prince Charming or Knight in Shining Armor. Sino ba namang babaeng may ayaw makatagpo ng isang makisig at nagniningning sa kagwapuhang lalaking nakasakay sa kabayo? But life is no fairytale, and I am no princess as Kent is no prince. Life doesn’t give any assurance of what’s to come. I’m not even sure if there really is such a thing as a happy ending. To be honest, I don’t really believe in one because if you’re truly happy, why’d you even want or wish for things to end? Why would you want an ending? I don’t want an ending. Not for as long as I’m in my right mind and for as long as I live. Paano kung totoo pala yung life after death tapos mukha kang tangang naniwalang yung malateleserye mong kamatayan na pala ang ending mo? E di nganga ka?  Kaya nga, be it happy or sad, I don’t want to put a period in the story of my life.

I’ll live a purposeful life with Kent and our future kids that’s for sure, and I’ll make sure that every single day of our lives together will be epic and unforgettable. I don’t care if we’ll have a tragic, or melodramatic ending. I’m not one to care for endings— For me, what’s important is that I live my life to the fullest without any regrets, whatsoever, and to spend it with the people who matter the most to me, Kent included of course. 

I know that there will be a few obstacles along the way, pero I’m sure na kaya naming lagpasan ni Kent lahat ng iyon kahit na mahirap, as long as we have and understand each other. I love him. I really do. Kahit na hindi siya kasing kisig ng Prince Charming ni Cinderella… Kahit walang halong eklavung pampagising ng comatose na prinsesa ang mga halik niya… I love him for who he is… I love him just the way he is… Kahit na mas malapad pa sa kanya ang plywood.

“Labs… Labs, gising na Labs. Nandito na tayo.” Kent whispered against my hair at iminulat ko ang aking isang mata. Nakahilig ako sa balikat niya habang nakapulupot naman ang isang braso niya around me. We’re on our way to our honeymoon destination at hindi ko namalayang nakatulog na pala ako.

“Hmmm? Sorry nakatulog pala ako… Saan na ba tayo Kent-Kent?” naghihikab kong tanong as I squint my eyes and tilt my head up to look at Kent.

“Nasa airport na tayo Labs. Nakaabang na rin yung Limo na maghahatid sa atin papunta sa Port. Halika na, magready ka na. Yung attendant na ang bahala sa luggage natin.” Kent thoughtfully answered as he hugged me to his chest and kissed me on the temple. I sighed at his sweet gesture at hindi ko mapigilang mapangiti at yumakap pabalik.

“Nakatulog ka ba ng ayos? Hindi na kita ginising kasi alam kong pagod ka—“ dagdag pa niya na hindi niya na natapos as I snuck my arms around his neck and pulled him for a kiss. Siniil ko siya ng maiinit at sensual na halik at hindi niya na napigilang mapapikit. Marahan akong napahalakhak ng hindi bumibitaw sa aming halikan habang pinapanood ko siyang sarap na sarap sa aking mga halik. I naughtily bit his lower lip and licked it afterwards, earning a groan from him.

“I love you—“ I mumbled in between our kisses at hindi niya na ako hinayaang makapagsalita pa ulit as he showered me with kisses that were much fiercer and urgent than the kisses I initiated earlier. Pinadausdos niya ang kanyang isang kamay sa aking batok, habang ang kabila naman ay nagsimula ng maglakbay sa iba’t-ibang parte ng aking katawan. I felt his other hand tuck the loose strands of my hair behind my ear before I felt it move down to my shoulder, my back, waist, hip, and finally, moving it back up to my chest. A moan escaped my lips and my back arched slightly as I felt him cup my breast, and rained kisses on my neck. I bit my lower lip and sank my fingers into his hair as I drowned in pleasure brought about by his skillful mouth and tongue. Ramdam ko ang mabilis na pagtibok ng aking puso at pati na rin ang aking mabilis na paghinga. Natigil lang kami sa pagmamake-out nang marinig naming tumikhim ang attendant ng kanyang private plane.
