Chapter Forty One

"Thank you"
You said to both her and Mingi as you sat down.

"You're most welcome"
She said, and proceeded to push you through the hospital doors.

Mingi carried all the bags as you got checked in.

After a little while you were in the room that you'd be delivering the baby in.

The nurse had already been in and checked how far along you were progressing.

You were dilated to a three.

The first thing that you told her was that you wanted an epidural.

You wanted some sort of relief from this intense pain and pressure.

Of course though, it took them a little bit of time to get it ordered in in and set up.

Probably one of the most nerve racking things you've done so far.

Having a large needle shoved into your spine to hookup the meds wasn't the most ideal way in your mind.

Mingi had been beyond amazing this whole night.
There was no other human being that you would have had here in this moment with you other than him.

Not even your own mother would have been as supportive as Mingi has been.

Massaging your back, running to get you ice water and so much more.

He had been waiting on your every hand and foot ever since you arrived at the hospital.

Not one complaint slipped his mouth as he did so.

By now it's been hours since you arrived to the hospital.

You were finally dilated to a full ten.

Your doctor and the rest of her medical team were in the room with you now.

It was pushing time.

You were extremely nervous, scared, anxious, exhausted all of the above.

The moment was nearly here.

You were about to meet the baby that you'd been modeling for the last nine months.

Mingi leaned his forehead against yours.
"You're almost there babe..I'm here with you"

You watched as the doctor gloved up and stationed herself at the end of your feet.

She helped you spread your legs apart.
She motioned for Mingi to hold one of them as the nurse held the other.

"Are you ready? You're about to finally hold your beautiful baby"

You nodded nervously.

Although you had an epidural, the pain was still there.
An immense amount of pressure in your pelvic area.

You had been pushing off and on for nearly forty five minutes, but the end was near.

"Only a few more honey baby is coming"

Your doctor had previously let you know that you were crowning.

That meant that the baby was now visible.

You gave a couple more hard pushes before relief came over you.

Tears immediately fell as you heard your baby cry for the first time.

You looked down as the doctor placed your baby on your chest as they wiped her off.

Yes her.
You had a little girl.

Mingi rested a hand on her as he cried tears of joy as well.

You could hardly believe it.

"Baby girl"
The nurse said as she finished wiping the blood off of her body.

"Oh my god Mingi"
You sobbed.

You couldn't wrap your mind around how far along you and Mingi had come.

From best friends to not speaking for nearly a year.

Then a rekindled friendship to being head over heels for each other.

Now you had this beautiful baby girl that you would raise together.

It all made sense to you now.
There was no more need to question it.

Mingi was your person.

Everything that happened in the past was truly the past.

This marked a whole new chapter in your story together.

He hugged you and kissed your forehead.
"I love you so much y/n"

You lifted his chin and kissed his lips.
"I love you Min"

There was no hesitation at all when you said that and it felt great.
