#3 Jeffery's fake tears should be considered a 'crime.'

Fay

It's funny how we'll jump to do some pretty preposterous things for the people we love. That it be saying sorry in an argument that wasn't your fault, to allowing your very own children to cause you bankruptcy, just to give them something someone else has. There are obviously even more drastic situations, as when some will even give up their hopes, dreams and life for that one person. In the small amount of time I've really studied the concept of love and caring for someone, it has taught me about a tremendous amount of sacrifice, trouble and overall joy.

You see, caring for each one of my friends is really quite easy. With the girls, it requires long phone calls at 2:00am, lots of chocolate, shopping trips and just plain out listening. Which we all know in my case, is quite easy. With my male friends, it involves food, jokes, lightheartedness when Avery is angry, and also listening in the time of need.

Now Eli on the other hand is a whole other story. He requires listening times two, input, understanding (even when I can't comprehend what he's saying), lots of food, sweet words as he likes to say and the occasional hug. When he behaves himself that is. You'd be surprised how much teen boys like hugs, it most definitely shocked me.

The greatest common factor I can find between them all, is that we humans like to be listened to. In any case, subject, problem or situation. That seems to be our midpoint.

"How are you on number five already?" Asks a shocked James, with his eyes widened and mouth opened. Jeffery glances up from his five empty milkshake glasses. The only things inside are whip-cream and vile strawberry remains.

He smirks proudly, "A man's stomach can expand to the amount of free items are in stock. Therefore my good sir, I shall take a cookies and cream this time." he finishes, with an expression of satisfaction lingering on his face. James only grunts in response, while walking back towards the milkshake machine once more.

Aver sighs, "Jeff if you keep this up you'll be fat before you know it." which in return only makes Jeffery roll his hazel eyes in amusement.

"So I've been thinking about summer vacation plans for all of us." Cassie begins happily. "My aunt owns a beach house Florida, she said i can bring who ever i'd like for the month of June." She explains. "Would you all be interested?"

"I'd be down, the next season doesn't start till fall. So i'm free till then." Charles states, before retrieving the little red cherry from his milkshake and popping it into his mouth.

"I'm down too. I don't have much of a life." Avery laughs, with amusement but also a hint of annoyance. She hasn't been in the best of moods lately. Most likely due to an arrogant, mean jock following her none stop as of lately. I too would be agitated.

Cassie smiles happily, before turning to Jeffery who is sitting beside her. " Jeff you said you don't have plains either right?"

"Nope! I'm all yours this summer." He exclaims joyfully, while placing his arm around her shoulder. Which causes a chained reaction of Avery's and Charles's grunts in disgust.

"What about you Fay?" Cassie then directs her blue eyes over to me, but before I could say anything Avery beats me to the punch.

"Oh,no no no. Fay and her lovebird are leaving to California for the next month or so, don't you know? They're gonna be in a wedding together! Isn't that cute?" Avery squirms. Causing Cassie to smile wide and fill her eyes with excitement.
