Hello everyone welcome to Mide's world. For my readers in North America, Europe, South America, Asia and non Yoruba speaking parts of Africa (which is a lot 😂) I would be translating those few statements or phrases which shall be in the Yoruba language so please don't worry.

Now let me introduce you to Ayomide or as she would be fondly called in this story - Mide. 'Ayomide' is a Yoruba given name from Western Nigeria, which is normally a unisex name. It simply means "My joy is here" Her full name is Ayomide Williams. Her mother is a Yoruba Nigerian but her father is unknown 😜

This story would be in Ayomide's point of view (POV) and it is derived from her account of the series of events that occurred during her lifetime as recorded in her journal which is being read by her, to her grand children. The beginning of every major chapter would start with a look into a page of her journal and then the build up of events would continue from there. It is the year 2020 now and Queen Mide is 80 years old.

I am excited to show you what I have planned for this story. Thank you all for continuing with me on the journey of Like No Other Book One and Two as well as this new development. I see you, I love you, I appreciate you!

Also importantly, I know we know our history and I'm glad we do, but this book is NOT a history textbook but a fictional novel. Do not expect to learn your history from here. Consult real history textbooks and read up to understand what "Truth" is.

P.S if you have not read Like No Other Book One and/ Two, kindly go to my profile and add both books to your library. Also, don't forget that Voting and commenting is a huge part of the experience of reading on a platform like Wattpad.
