The sun and the chirping sound of birds woke me up. I was outside under a cardboard box I found near by the garbage bin and wrapped myself into it.

I must look horrible plus who wouldn't be in the morning.

I go back to that same bathroom where I cut my hair but this time with caution. I was scared for my life, imagine stealing clothes while ofters steal worse. And I'm scared out of my mind.

I try and brush off the feeling knowing fully well I had to do it, it was a moment of weakness no one would blame me right?

I gather water in my hands, washing my face, I didn't have toothpaste so I leave my mouth untouched, 'smell if they want'

I go to leave but stumble into someone the person held me up. But I quickly brush him off, seeing it was that homeless guy from last time. The werid thing he just stares at me.

Seconds pass and I couldn't take it anymore "What!" I practically yell, his face screwed up as if smelling my breathe, I mentally pat myself on the shoulder.

"You look different." He said wanting to touch my clothes,

How rude of him!

I move out of the way quickly making his hands release me.

Before he could say anything, I moved fast away from him, can't have anyone right through my act, got to be in character.

Some time later I stand at the bus park, it was now or never at this point. And I know I had to play it off, it's five months that's the least I can manage. My palms were sweating, I came to where the bus would pick all the recruits and believe me I was the shortesh out of these guys compared 6'4 to 5'6 I'm a living midget among the giants.

I saw that some guys were looking at me and honestly I played dumb keeping my head high but still trying to not catch the attention of others.

One guy walked up to me and I felt my nerves ready to exploded.

"Aren't you a little too thin to be here." The guy said folding his hands in front of him.

"Aren't you a little too rude." I said finding my manly voice and it worked he brought it. "Nah dude I don't mean no disrespect, names Jackson what's yours." He said scratching the back of his head while the other hand held out in front of me.

"Matt." I said gripping his hand as firm as it can go, my thin fingers didn't compare to his as if he could easily choke.

He wore a goofy smile and I didn't know what for, until ofters started to come over towards us.

I keep my composure knowing it's like a test that I needed to pass and this was the first step.

They began to talk but I completely tune them out wanting to get this over with fast.

"Okay new recruits its time to get moving!." A guy from the bus shouted, it was one of those top notch military guys, I don't remember the position but his clothes full with a lot of mantels and badges.

We all made our way to the bus, but as it was my turn, the guy stops me and looks at me closely, at that point I thought I was screwed, but I look at him with a blank face not sure what to think now.

After a minute of inspecting he steps aside but I didn't miss what he said "enjoy." The way he said it sent shivers down my spine.

I quickly took my seat right next to Jackson.

"Everytime I say something you say 'Yes commander' is that understood!."

"Yes commander!." All the boys yell back at the handsome man, I have to keep myself from looking at him.

"Everytime I tell what to do, you do it without question! Is that understood!."

"Yes commander!." The hot commander walks down the aisle of the bus, making eye contact with every recruit.

"EYES ON THE FLOOR!!!." He suddenly yells making all the boys including myself jump.

"Yes commander!." We yell back as we drop are eyes to the buses floor.

"You have not earned the respect to look at me!." He turns sharply and walks down the middle, he walks with so much grace, I know my eyes are supposed to be on the ground but I just can't take my eyes off of him.

Sometime later

The chills were real I always thought camp was the worse but this just got top worse on my list. As I step off the bus, the commander order us to March to the bunkers where we keep our things and head straight back to him.

And trust me I have no problem getting back to him;)

We all race back but me being the slowest couldn't compare to thses giants.

The commander stood before us with two ofter hot soldiers behind him

Why was this camp full of hot guys!?

"Look alive maggots!." He says the cold shouts brought me to shudders.

"Now here we got our General Andrew Drew and sergeant Damion Grey." When he said there names my eyes couldn't help but look at the Sergeant. He wore dark shades and a dark green shirt tight enough to show his muscles and his camouflage pants.

Although he had on those shades his eyes were burning.

Wait a minute was he looking at me?

I quickly look away knowing fully well I couldn't draw attention towards me.

"Now recruits we have training at 0400 tomorrow, sleep is not your option." The commander said turning his back at us leaving, the ofters move off and I bagin to move along but my eyes linger on the Sergeant. Who could deny his looks, surely not me after all I am a girl.

As I made it back to the bunkers, I got really nervous we all had to take showers and the worst part it's together.

"Come on Matt." Jackson said from across the room with the ofter guys.

"No man go ahead might catch the zzz's early." I said my manly voice working it's charm. He took my foolish excuse and went with the ofters. I exhale knowing fully well I have to shower asap, so I came up with a plan. I'll sneak in while the ofters sleep, I pretended to sleep hearing them come back after a hour.

It didn't help that the beds were so noisy but I made justice be served as I slowly made it out in one piece.

The entire place was so silent and believe me I scrubbed every dirt and remain of the blood in my hair out, I was almost done putting my clothes on until I heard heavy footsteps I tried to hide but where it was clearly no use.

So I stand still trying to be a statue. The footsteps stops but no more movement or sound was made.

I slowly turn around my nerves shaking.

My eyes met the coldest fo grey eyes, it was the Sergeant standing in all his glory.

Shit....
