Life in New York

I can't believe it's already been 3 months I am in New York and my parents are not searching for me.

I am so happy to see the American life style which is amazing for me. I am currently work as receptionist in Elliot Company still searching for better jobs.

I have rent my own apartment and I am living single. Erika keeps on visiting me and we do have girly overnight talks.

I told Erika about my fake boyfriend Adrian Lincoln which makes her laugh saying 'that idiot Adrian even don't know about this' ha-ha

'I was lucky though to write his name otherwise my dad will be here in America 'I said

'Yes Kath, you are right and smart. Unknowingly that idiot saved your life' she said and we start laughing out

Its Erika birthday today and I order a bouquet of flowers which I am going to pick it up after my work.

'Hi, my name is Katherine Evans, I did order a bouquet of flowers for a birthday and I came here to collect it' I said

'Just hold on a sec Miss Evan, I'll look at it for you' she said

'No worries' I said

'Sorry miss Evan, flowers were ready but just few mins ago one gentleman came here and took away that bouquet of flower. If you could wait for a while then we can make another bouquet but unfortunately we ran out of sunflowers so it will be without sunflower' she said

'No thank you, sunflower is my friend best flower and without it I don't want your bouquet' I said with disappoint and came out of shop

I was just walking on a street getting upset when I saw a man carrying a sunflower. I mean my flower bouquet which I ordered it, so I rushed towards him. He looks like he is waiting for someone.

'Excuse me sir, would you mind selling me that bouquet? Actually that was my flower bouquet but that flower shop lady sold it to you' I said

'Sorry Miss, but I bought this flower for my girlfriend' he said

'I know you bought this flower but I ordered it online. Please sir, you look gentleman and I need that flower please' I said

'You just said me gentleman? If so then I can let you have it' he said with a smile

'Thank you Mr.' I said

'Mr Colin' he said

'Thank you Mr Colin, it's nice to meet you. I'm Katherine and I need that flower for my friend's birthday since she loves sunflower' I said with a smile

'No worries beautiful, I'll get another flower for my girlfriend' he said

'You are so kind Sir, have a nice day' I said and left for Erika birthday

Erika seems so happy seeing the sunflowers as it was her best flower. I am glad that I got her the sunflower and thanks to that gentleman Colin.

I got a phone call from Starluck co. with regards to my job application. I said them that I am happy to attain the interview as I desperately need money to pay my rents.

I went for interview and found out that Colin is the CEO of that company and he offered me the job. I am so happy that I got a new job as a business manager.

I work the normal office hours and got a new car with my salary. Colin offered me a good salary from which I can live my lifestyle happily.

I did make a new friends whose name is RIA. She is Colin girlfriend and my best friend at work. She works as PA to Colin but always in a fun mood.

I have got another idiot friend whose name is Daniel. He is a single man who wants to mingle every time but poor Daniel no luck at all.

It's been nearly a year that I have left my home and I really miss my parents and my brother a lot.

I cannot go back to them because they are still angry with me. Therefore, I am sitting in a park looking at my phone (family picture) when I heard a loud noise.

I went towards the noise and saw a rich person car was hit by a poor man. That man was continuously asking for forgiveness but that stupid rich guy was shouting at him telling him the cost of his stupid car.

I went towards that poor man and said 'What happened sir? Why is he scolding you?'

'Hello Miss, My wife is in labour pain in hospital so I was rushing towards the hospital when this man pulled up his car and I hit it. I try to apologies to him but they are rich people and don't listen to us' poor man said

I feel so sad and angry that I burst out towards that rich guy pointing towards his face.

'Hello you Mr whatever, don't you see this poor man has got his own bit problems and still apologising for your shitty stupid mistake.' I said

'I don't like any other poor brats opening their big mouth' that rich guy said

'Shut up you rich piece of shit and stop judging people by rich and poor category. You might be rich with your money but poor with your heart. Just wearing expensive cloths and goggles won't make you a great person instead it'll make you look like a cartoon. Try to respect everyone and you'll find true happiness. You heartless arrogant stupid shitty rich person will never understand this' I said

'Can't you just shut up you little mouth? I am not standing here to listen to your lecture and get lost with that poor man as you won't be able to pay for this car damage' he said

'What the hell did you just say me you stupid? Just tell me the cost of your car damage?' I said

'You'll never ever be able to pay me' he said

'Just fine then if I can't effort to you pay you then I need to make sure you can't afford to repair your car' I said

And with that I grab the stone lying on the road and hit his car mirror making him angry.

That rich guy was angrily about to burst out when another handsome guy with blue eyes came out of that car. He looks so cool, muscular, and handsome with a perfect jaw line.

He wasn't wearing a black suit like that rich man but still in formal shirt and trouser. I am guessing he might be that rich man assistant and hopefully he won't get in trouble before of my behaviour.

He looked towards me with eyes full of surprise and that arrogant rich guy went inside the car.

I was about to speak to that guy when he says 'We are really sorry for this inconvenience beautiful, Please forgive us, it was our fault that we pulled up in the middle of the road' he said softly and gently

I feel bad for him as he is apologising for that arrogant rich man. He is such a nice man and I liked the way he have respect towards us.

'It's ok Mr nice man, and I am sorry I broke the car mirror' I said

'No worries Miss.' He said and left

I cannot believe on my eyes that man apologies kindly even though it wasn't his mistake. He might be the hard worker who is desperate of money same like me and dealing with that rich arrogant boss. I feel pity on him since he have got shitty boss.

I wish I could meet him again and say sorry for my behaviour. I'll pray to god that he won't get in trouble and with that I went towards my apartment.
