"How the HELL do I write a two weeks notice?!" you yell, pacing around in front of your laptop; a blank email was open.
You hear the loud laughter from Tyler and Josh from your computer's speaker. You had already told them you decided that you're coming along with them. You couldn't find a downside to coming with them. The word "excited" doesn't begin to explain just how ecstatic you are to go with them.
You turn around and pace back and forth again, focusing on how you're going to tell David you're quitting, which is only half the battle. The real torturous part is facing him when you'll have to go back to get all the random items from your workroom. That'll be fun. You still don't know if you're going to report him to H.R as a final stand.
You spin on your heels once again and walk forward.
"Y/N, can you stop pacing? You're even making me nervous," you hear Tyler say, causing you to stop in your tracks. You almost forgot that you were video calling.
"Have you decided whether or not to report your boss to H.R yet?" You can just barely hear Josh ask the question — he must be in some other part of the house. If you remember correctly, he said he was making lunch for him and Tyler.
"Not sure yet..." uou mumble, thinking back to all the unprofessional occurrences that happened.
"You really should, Y/N. I can't imagine what working with him regularly must be like," Tyler sympathizes, politely trying to give his opinion.
"Flirty interviewer is what they should call his position." You always watch all the boys' interviews, even though you most likely knew everything that they would answer. One of the things that never fails to make you feel sick is when the interviewers flirt with either one of them, or both of them.
Don't kid yourself, that sick feeling is jealousy, you think to yourself guiltily.
No, no, no. Not today or right now. Let's just focus on writing your two week resignation.
"Y/N-" Tyler draws out in a whine.
"Huh?"
"Josh asked if you had gotten anything down yet," he says, probably repeating himself.
"Oh, uhhh..." You sigh, embarrassed, watching the cursor line blink on the screen with nothing behind it. "No."
Tyler chuckles. "Alright, we'll leave you to it. Good luck."
"Thanks, I'll need it..." You smile at the computer's camera, wishing that your friends didn't have to go.
"Call me when you're done," Tyler says, returning a small smile.
"Of course, bye."
"Later, Y/N."

"Wow! I forgot you played the bass and the piano. Just how many instruments do you play, Y/N?" Josh asks, staring around your relatively clean room. He and Tyler came over to help you pack up. The whole going with them on tour thing seemed so surreal. That was when you realized going on tour meant one big thing: going on a plane.
Oh no.
"O-Oh, um, five or six, depending on if you want to count a beat machine as an instrument," you answer Josh's question, snapping out of your anxious thought.
"Is something wrong?" Tyler asks, looking up at you from under your bed.
"I don't really do well with planes," you confess quietly. The boys chuckle to each other.
