Emilie fingered her wedding dress.

"Stop fidgeting, Emilie!" Jane scolded. Natalie pulled Emilie's hair up into a bun, and placed a small silver tiara on her head. Jane attached the veil to the tiara.

"You look beautiful!" Natalie said. Emilie looked in the mirror and gasped. Her wedding gown was long and snowy white, and her beautiful blond hair was tied back, topped with the tiara and veil.

"Thank you." She whispered. Her friends smiled. The door opened, and a young girl popped her head in.

"It's starting." She said. She left the room as Emilie's dad walked in.

"You look beautiful." He said with teary eyes.

"Don't cry, Dad. You'll make me cry too." Emilie said. Her dad laughed and pulled her into a hug.

"I love you, Emilie. I'm so happy for you."

Emilie leaned into his hug. "I love you too, Dad." They pulled away, and Emilie took a deep breath. Then Natalie and Jane surrounded her in a warm hug. Natalie handed her the bouquet, and Jane pulled part of the veil over Emilie's face. Emilie's dad held out his arm, and she slipped her arm through his. Then they walked out. Jane and Natalie took their places on stage. The flower girl started scattering her blue and purple flowers, and Emilie's dad walked her down the church aisle. Here comes the Bride began to play, and Emilie looked up and saw Gabriel. He looked stunning in his blue suit, and he had a nervous but happy smile on his face.

They reached the base of the steps that led onto the stage, and Emilie's father kissed her cheek. Emilie smiled at him, then she ascended the steps. When she reached the pulpit, Emilie faced Gabriel. The priest began to talk about marriage and what God designed it to be. He talked about the dedication they must give to one another and the love they must share. They said their vows, and Emilie was positive she heard someone sniffing.

The Pastor cleared his throat. "Now, do you both promise to love each other and cherish each other, 'till death do you part?"

They both looked deep into each other's eyes.

"I do." Gabriel said.

"I do." Emilie said.

The Pastor nodded his approval. "Now, you may kiss the bride!" The newlywed couple kissed, and there were loud cheers from the guests. Emilie threw her bouquet, and one of her cousins caught it. Gabriel took her hand and led her out; the guests followed, and they all made their way to the reception area.
