“Then I will begin.” Ive said, “Not long ago, the central shopping mall was attacked by a group of terrorists and you were a staff of that mall. Why did you suddenly disappear after the attack?”

Shang Ke responded calmly, “Lieutenant Ive, you don’t have to beat around the bush. I can tell you directly that I do have some relations with them but I am not a terrorist.”

Ivey was surprised by his straight-forwardness and motioned, “Then please elaborate.”

They tried every means to brainwash us and kept us out of contact with the outside world. Many of us wanted to run away but all those who escaped were killed by them. I didn’t dare take any risks. I stayed with them peacefully for five years. Until recently, they sent me to work in the central shopping mall. “

Ive nodded. That was understandable.

Shang Ke continued, “I didn’t know what they wanted to do beforehand.”
“慢着，你说你事先不知道？”艾维打断道，“商场中的炸弹难道不是你装的吗？”
“Wait, beforehand?” Ive interrupted, “Didn’t you install the bomb in the mall?”
“不是，我根本不懂装卸炸弹。”尚可否认道，“那天，他们交给我一个礼盒，并告诉我，如果他们被抓，就让我打开礼盒，只要完成这个任务，我就自由了。”
“No, I don’t know how to install bombs at all.” Shang Ke denied, “On that day, they handed me a gift box and told me that if they were to get caught, I had to open the box. As long as I finished this task, I would be set free.”
