两天下来，尚可将别墅的环境摸了个遍，还在周围转了几圈，又对照电子地图，将附近的路线、建筑、商店等等，全都记下，确定没有遗漏，才停止摸索，然后回到别墅，开始通过网络搜集各种信息，包括越家的一些资料。

In two days, Shang Ke had familiarized himself with the environment of the mansion and made a couple rounds around the surroundings. He also compared it with an electronic map, recording all the routes, buildings, stores, and so on that are nearby. After making sure he didn’t overlook anything, he finally stopped his exploration and return to the villa. By that point, he had started to use the internet to gather information on anything he could, including the Yue Family.

越家是传承了三百多年的大家族，颇受王族看重，虽然并非传承贵族，却享受贵族的权利和尊荣。在帝国许多城市都有自己的品牌和贸易，曾一度成为最富之家。但近一百多年，家族发展日渐衰落，在政治上和经济上的实力，已大不如前。但是，瘦死的骆驼比马大，越家的产业直至如今还是很有规模和影响力的。

Yue Family was a great family passed on for three hundred years, they were regarded with importance by the Royal Family. Although they were not really nobility, they enjoyed the power and glory of a noble family. In the Empire, many cities had their brand name and trade, they once became the richest family. But around a hundred years ago, their family development declined, in both politics and economics, their power was not the same as before. However, a dying camel was still larger than a horse, so the Yue Family industry lasting until today was still rather widespread and influential.

只不过相比陆家，越家的地位却是望尘莫及。陆家乃世袭贵族，陆修樊的哥哥陆修齐是现任女王的丈夫，他本人受封为王爵，兼任御察官，负责监察权贵大臣的言行举止。

It’s just that compared to Lu Family, Yue Family’s position was far inferior. Lu Family was hereditary nobility, Lu Xiufan’s older brother Lu Xiuqi was the current Queen’s husband, while he himself was conferred the title of Lord. His post was an inspection official, in charge of supervising the bigshot Chancellor’s words, actions and manners.

尚可搜索了一下陆修樊的照片，结果全是远照，而没有一张清晰的近照，大概可以看出他身材高大挺拔，气势不凡，在人群中最先注意到的一定是他。

Shang Ke searched for Lu Xiufan’s photograph, but all he could find were far pictures of him, never a close up one that was recent. He could roughly make out that he was tall and imposing, the first one to be taken note of even in a crowd.

看了看时间，已是深夜12点，尚可决定关灯睡觉。

After checking the time, it was midnight already. Shang Ke decided to turn off the lights and head to bed.

半睡半醒间，门外突然传来细碎的声响，尚可睁开眼，细听片刻，然后从床上爬起来，穿上外套走出房间。

In his half asleep half awake state, he heard bits and pieces of sound coming from outside the door. Shang Ke opened his eyes and carefully listened for a while, then he got up from the bed and put on his coat, leaving the room.
