Valerie's POV
Waking up to the sound of my alarm also to a smell that's familiar suddenly I remember that it's dad's special omelette my favourite but if he thinks I'm going to fall for it his dreaming before I could think of taking a shower i march to the kitchen downstairs before saying anything I noticed how much I miss him but memories won't let us be together again
"Dad i want to make this easier"
"Oh valerie you are up i made breakfast you want some" he interrupts as he turns towards the cooker and I notice that he respected my decision by not calling me 'val' or 'angel'
"Dad I'm trying so hard to forgive you but I really just can't forget everything that happened you really need to go please"
"I understand and I hope you forgive me soon. I'll be going"
"yeah sure bye" I say and walk upstairs to get ready for school.
I decide to go for something simple so I chose a blue lace dress and a white canvas and leaving you hair in a messy bun. Last night was a Long night I was so happy that Friday is approaching.

"Hey Valerie come over here" Brett says that's really weird because we don't talk but for him calling it must be for something important
"Um hi......" before I could finish talking I felt something sticky pouring on me followed by flour.
The only person that can do that is no other than LUCAS turning back i see people laughing and mostly i see him.
Urgh I so much hate him now because of him people will know me as honey girl or flour girl
"Wow Lucas just wow" I say walking towards and touching him with the honey and flour mixture
"That's what you get for being a rude girlfriend" he says laughing
"What the fuck we are not dating not even close. To be clear your not my type" I tell him but I hear murmurs which makes me realise that I shouted
"Valerie Star and Lucas Anderson what is happening here" the principal ask in the typical Principal uniform (a button up shirt a pair trouser and glasses)
"He did it sir" I say pointing to Lucas
"well I'm seeing you,Lucas and Brett here in the middle of everything so three are to wait after school and if you thought you are going to cover up for you boyfriend(pointing to Brett) it didn't work. Meanwhile you three clean the mess"
"but sir...."
"No but's " he says leaving not wanting to hear anything
"Thanks Lucas" I say in a sarcastic tone
"My pleasure love" he says winking at me. I hate his guts no I hate Lucas Anderson.
Lucas POV
I had to clean the mess with her and it clicked that I didn't know her name
"'What's your name?" I ask her but I get something I didn't expect
"Instead of asking why don't you help?"
"I think i prefer watching you clean than assisting you" I tell her leaning on the way
"Okay" she replies but pour the mixture all over me now I'm looking just like her some guys she has
"You know that getting this all over me won't change the fact that you're cleaning the mess" I tell her with a smirk
Valerie's POV
Ugh he's so annoying but a hot type i still couldn't help my urge of wanting to slap him but I'm not ready for more scene....

Detention is the worst place to be in, no phones just doing nothing for two good hours
"Thanks Lucas"
I say to him giving him an angry look, suddenly my note falls down and unfortunately for me it opened your the page where I designed Jason's name that is obviously regret doing .
"It's like pretty girl has a boyfriend" he says in a mocking way which made me give him a stupid look
"Here have your book" I turned to see Chase returning the book. (If you are wondering Chase broke a rule not relating to Valerie and Lucas)
"Thanks " I was blushing for reasons I don't know.
I flipped through to see if I had any other stuff written in the book but I see Chase's number turning to face him he gives me a nice smirk that made me melt
"Name pretty girl"
"Valerie " I responded not thinking but smiling

Detention was not so bad after all, I think Chase is really hot and nice also 100% better than Lucas. My walk back home was filled with thoughts of what happened between Chase and I and also about stuffs I would want to happen. I quickly walk home to tell Carmella about what happened , she ended up convincing me that I'm falling for Chase. I guess I have to give myself another chance .......
