chapter 9

Taehyung's POV

i left Hobby Coffee and went to my office in uptown Seoul. after a bit of driving. i arrived

"where have you been?" hoseok said as i walked in

"i've been spending time with someone" i said vaguely

"you were what? explain? who's this someone?" hoseok slightly raised his voice

"i was spending time with jungkook okay? i met him last night and he's super sweet. i'll tell you later but do not talk to me like that again. your not my fucking mom" i shot back

"now why did you call me here?" i asked as i took out my phone

"you have a meeting with mr.bang in 15 minutes"

"okay. also while i'm in the meeting, get me a new iphone 11 pro. i want it black" i said as i fixed my tie and my hair

"what's it for?" hoseok asked

"none of your fucking business"

"okay then. i'll give you to you when your done with the meeting. can you please tell me what it's for though?" hoseok begged using his puppy eyes

"fine. it's for jungkook he broke his phone last night" i explained

"oh okay" hoseok said with a frown

"is that a problem? because if it is you can gladly leave" i said beginning to get annoyed

"no sir. i'll get it to you when your done"

i got ready and finally went to the meeting

FLASH FORWARD

i finished my meeting and hoseok handed me the new phone

"why is the seal off?" i asked as i was opening the box

"i wanted to double check" hoseok said but i noticed his face was getting red

"okay whatever" i put the phone in the bag and took out my phone and checked my missed call

1 missed call

looks like jungkook's done. i pressed on the miss call and waited

"tae!!!" i heard jungkook giggle

"are you done? i'll come pick you up at the cafe" i said as i walked to my car

"yes i'm done. are we still having the date?" jungkook asked with his cute voice

"yes we are indeed. wait for me there i'm leaving right now"

"okay i'll hang up then. don't want you calling and driving or you might almost run into someone else and ditch me for them"

"in your dreams" i joked and hung up

fuck. i'm really whipped for him

after a short drive. i arrived at the cafe

"tae tae!!" jungkook ran up and hung onto me like a koala

"when did you get so clingy?" i asked pinching his cheek

"i'm just really exited for the date. where are we going by the way?"

"that's a suprise"

"are you two done flirting?" jin asked as he walked towards us

"stop it jin. your just jealous i'm dating the most beautiful man alive" jungkook stuck his tongue out

"never said that. i have namjoon so..."

"well it was nice meeting you guys. we have to go now though" i pulled jungkook and locked his hand with mine

"bye hyungs!" jungkook waved as we walked away

when we got out of the cafe. i handed jungkook his new phone

"here's your new phone as i promised"

"i can't take this. it's really expensive" jungkook pushed the phone back towards to me

this made me fluster a little. jungkook didn't date me for my money. he dated me for my personality. not for my money or my fame

"take it please. i already have a phone so if you don't take it i'll have to throw it away" i lied but i just wanted him to have the phone (A/N he can return it lmao)

"okay fine" he grabbed the box from me and opened it

we got into the car and i started to drive

"where are we going?" jungkook asked again

"it's a surprise. you'll find out when we get there" i told him and i drove away from the cafe

"okay it better be good then"

"you'll love it!"

"tae can i ask you something? it's kind of off topic but..." jungkook suddenly asked

"of course" i gave him a smile

"can i sleep with you for the next few days? i- uhh- i've been having flashbacks of my childhood and my therapist said it will help if i sleep with someone i trust. ummm- when i was young- i uhh- my dad use to h-h-hit me and abuse me. i've been going to a therapist since last year but for some reason i'm having flashbacks. i think it's because of kai" jungkook said blankly

"you can stay with me for as long as you need bunny" i took his soft hands and locked it with mine hoping to reassure him it's okay  and he gave me a smile

for the rest of the car ride. he talked more about him and i did the same

turns out his inner self is super crackheady

"wait wait. so you actually peed your pants during exam?" jungkook laughed then wheezed 

"yah! it wasn't funny. i cried during exams because of that" i yanked him and he laughed even more

his smile literally melts my heart. he has a bunny smile and every time he flashes me a smile, i feel like i'm being attacked.

"wait we're here!" i pulled in and jungkook looked out the window curiously

"where are we??"

"you'll see"

i opened the door for jungkook and he walked out of the car

"woahhh were at lotte world. i love this place but i've only been here once" jungkook said as he held my hand and pulled me to run with him

"i thought we were going to the ice skating rank for a second. wait hang on. why are there no cars parked outside?" he asked with his bunny smile

"because i rented the whole place for ourselves!" i told him

"what? you did what? that must've been expensive" he said

"don't worry about the price. just have fun!" i said and he pulled me towards to run with him
