Let it pass you, all that has been taken. they only touched the outside, they stripped you of your pride at a young age, made you feel inadequate. your codependent behaviour stemming from an early age trauma. They taught you that love was not everlasting. reminded you, you were not worthy of love. Now your older you see the truth, you have always been worthy, they kept you down from fear. Your light was so much brighter that they feared all you had to offer, they feared walking in your shadow. Just as they do now.
