Gilly's pov

I got a note from Jax in first period this morning. It read:

Thief,
meet me on the roof after sunset. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Right now I'm walking into lunch. That means that it's been three periods since he gave me the note. He knows I don't do well with suspense. What was he thinking?! I'll ask him in a minute when I see him for lunch.

I can't find him anywhere! He always meets me for lunch. We always sit at the same table. "Does anyone know where Jax is?" I asked our friends. They all murmered a simple no. Ollie was just silent. He knows. Although he won't tell. I know I have to wait until tonight to find out what he is planning. If I made it until then.

Jax's pov

Gilly will be here any minute, the sun just went down. I hope she enjoys this. I come up here almost every night. It has the best views of the campus at night. I hope she gets here soon. I can't wait much longer. I hear footsteps!

"Hey!" I greeted as she came up. "Hi!" She said. "So, why did you bring me up here" Oh, yeah. "Look up." I answered simply. We both looked up and we're met by more stars than I could count. "Wow. I've never seen so many stars before. They feel so.. so close!" I think she liked it. "Yeah, that's what I thought the first time I saw this view." We sat down and looked up at the stars for a little while longer before she said, "I've never seen the campus so quiet before." "Yeah I know right. It's so pretty at night . Just like you." I stopped, " wow that sounded really cheesy." " No, it didn't it sounded sweet." Before I could think I pulled her close, looked her in the eyes and kissed her
