Tomorrow Blake and I make our separate ways for about a week so we can go home to our families for Christmas.
"Okay so you know when we were in Bali and I promised to take you to winter wonderland?"
"Yes?"
"Well today is the day so be ready by 6pm" he smiles making his way out of the apartment to wherever he was going, It's currently 3pm so I have a while to get ready.
I sit on the couch wearing black skinny jeans, my doc martens, the 1975 band T-shirt and a denim jacket.
"You ready?" He asks walking into the apartment, I nod in response and we both make our way downstairs to the get into the taxi which he booked us
We arrive at winter wonderland, all the lights are bright and mesmerising. I smile as we walk through the crowds of people making our to to who knows where
"Where should we go?" I ask looking up at the bright lights illuminating his face making it glow, he takes his hand in mine and guides us to one of the rides.
He sits in the seat which says tallest and I sit next to him, the worker pulls the bar down and makes sure it's buckled in tight. The carriage soon starts to spin, and i feel dizzy as I cling onto his arm, the loud music picked up, filling our ears.
I scream with excitement as it goes faster, spinning us around until finally slowing to a stop after the five minutes of the ride.
"That was so much fun!" I happily yell as we climb out of the carriage and make our way back to the ground
"I'm dizzy" he giggles blinking slowly trying to gain his balance
"I swear if you throw up on me-"
"I'm not gonna" he says pushing me in a joking way
"Come here" he says guiding us to one of the game booths, you have to throw 3 balls into the bucket without it bouncing back out. I offer to pay but he refuses just like every time I've tried to pay today, I stare at Blake watching him concentrate on the game.
"You can do this" I whisper gaining a smile from him, the throws the first one and it goes in causing me to squeal
Surprisingly he makes all the balls in the bucket without them coming out, i wrap my arms around him I'm excitement
"I knew I could do that" he says confidently
"Are you sure about that"
"...no I thought i would've spent all my money on this game but guess what I just found my new talent" he smiles pressing a kiss on my cheek
"So which gift would you like?" The carney asks Blake pointing to the rack of stuffed animals, Blake stares at me causing me to furrow my eyebrows
"Yeah love which one would you like?" He smiles looking back at all the toys
"That one please," i request like a child, pointing to the teddy bear which is holding a love heart, and the carney passes it to me with a sweet smile
"It's so cute" I hold it to my chest squeezing it tightly
"To celebrate let's get something to eat, I'm paying" I say as the smell of greasy fast food and sugary sweetness drift into my nose causing my stomach to turn in excitement and hunger, He holds his hand in mine as we make our way to one of the stalls which sells burgers.
I take my purse out my bag and grab the money to pay for the food but before I can pay Blake grabs my purse and places it in his coat pocket
"Blake!"
"Yes?"
"Why...what...I was trying to pay"
"But you're not"
"Please let me pay" I groan, he's so stubborn and I know theirs no way he will let me pay tonight but i guess I'll have to find a way to make it up to him in the future.
"You'll get your purse when we get home" he smirks taking out his bank card and pays for our food and drinks.
We sit at the table eating our shared fries and our burgers, I wouldn't want to spend today with anyone else.
"Thank you"
"What are you thanking me for?" He asks confused as I wrap my arms around his waist looking up at him with a smile on my face
"Today" He looks at me with a loving look that has always been there, yet I've only noticed it now. His thumb strokes my cheek softly, the contrast of metal and flesh strangely comforting.
"Well thank you for coming and keeping me company"
