the next few days, taeyong continued to see jaehyun at boom cafe every morning. baekhyun always said that jaehyun has been there since five in the morning, and wouldn't leave until ten minutes before school started. during break period, jaehyun would come up to taeyong and usually beg him to allow him to explain, to which taeyong would always ignore and leave.

doyoung and sicheng suggested for taeyong to talk to jaehyun, but the red headed boy was so persistent on staying away from jaehyun. however, the brown haired boy was so desperate to get a chance to explain that even ten, johnny, and yuta came to taeyong to ask him to allow jaehyun to explain himself. they always assured the red headed boy that jaehyun means no harm, but as always, the said boy wouldn't listen.

this went on and on for the next week, which soon became two weeks, which soon became three. sooner than anyone knew, it had been a month since jaehyun's "confession" and a month since taeyong began to ignore the brown haired boy with all his might. doyoung and guanheng began to think that it was becoming ridiculous as to how long taeyong had avoided jaehyun, and always told him to  talk to the brown haired boy. but, being as stubborn as he is, the red headed boy continuously ignored them and jaehyun.

one month passing means the passing of seeing jaehyun at boom cafe every morning from five to 7:50 for baekhyun. everyday, jaehyun would arrive at the cafe before opening time, ask if taeyong had come yesterday, go inside, and fall asleep after about ten minutes of waiting for the red haired boy. after being woken up at 7:50 by baekhyun to go to school, the brown haired boy would ask the cashier if he had missed taeyong once again, to which baekhyun would reply yes.

the cashier at boom cafe also told taeyong that he should try talking to jaehyun, after developing a conclusion that the two were in some kind of fight. taeyong always told him that he would get to it someday, but the response was no different from the day before. it was usually always "i'll get to it later" or "tomorrow", but baekhyun could tell that the red haired boy never got to it.

today was no different from the other days this past month: jaehyun going to the cafe early to see taeyong, the said boy going to the cafe but deciding to ignore jaehyun's presence inside, the sleep deprived boy bothering taeyong during free period to let him explain himself, taeyong always ignoring him and leaving, jaehyun's friends asking taeyong if he would allow the brown haired boy to explain himself, the red headed boy ignoring them as well and attempting to continue on with his life. this had nearly become a daily routine for everyone involved, just so that taeyong would allow jaehyun to explain himself.

"i can't believe even sicheng is telling taeyong to talk to jaehyun even though he won't even talk to yuta himself," kun said to their mini friend group while they were gathered after school.

sicheng, taeyong, chenle, and jeno had to head home earlier than usual today, meaning that they wouldn't be able to hang out for the hour that they always do with the rest of their friends everyday. the entire friend group from both parties started believing that taeyong's ignorance has gone too far. however, only taeyong's group of friends decided to talk about it.

"i know, right? both of them are so stubborn," jisung said as he took a sip of his strawberry milkshake that he ordered from boom cafe.

"what about you?" jungwoo asked. "have you confessed yet?"

"yeah. you said you would confess by the end of this year," guanheng said. doyoung nodded while taking a bite from his chocolate cake. jisung suddenly turned slightly pink and tried to hide it by drinking his milkshake, which didn't do him any good service because he ended up choking from drinking too fast.

"hey, slow down on your drinking!" doyoung exclaimed as he patted jisung's back to relieve him from his coughing.

"what about you, jaemin? any progress in confessing yet?" yangyang asked. now it was jaemin's turn to choke on the drink he was drinking when he was asked that question. face bright red and coughing, yangyang and doyoung couldn't help but laugh at their friend together.

both jaemin and jisung were able to reply 'not yet' after they stopped coughing from their drinks.

after the friends played around for a while, kun finally was able to bring the boys back to their original topic once again.

"going back to taeyong, do any of you guys think that him and jaehyun will end up like sicheng and yuta?" the chinese boy asked his friends. many of the boys sitting around the table shook their heads and gave a reasoning as to why they believed what they believed. one answer stood out to everyone, and that answer came from someone who believed that taeyong and jaehyun wouldn't end up like their two foreigner friends.

"i think taeyong is avoiding jaehyun right now because he finds the reason for jaehyun bullying him ridiculous, which, honestly, if i had a bully who bullied me because they're terrible with feelings and stuff, then yeah, i would think and do the same thing," jungwoo explained, causing some of his friends to agree with him. "sicheng started avoiding yuta because he found everything difficult to handle since he's never been in that situation before, which is very different from taeyong's reasoning."

"jungwoo does have a point," guanheng said. he took a drink from his cup and took a bite out of his blueberry muffin before continuing with his statement. "but, with the way this is going, if things don't get fixed soon, then taeyong eventually won't know how to bring up the topic to jaehyun, just like sicheng."

the others nodded as they continued eating their after school snacks. conversations about the continuous events between jaehyun and taeyong were left to rest, all of them hoping that the drama ends soon.
