Chapter 8

I had walked with Merlin to the armoury when we both heard hissing and turned
"Hello? Is there someone there?" Merlin asked before he found Valaints shield but walked futher into the armoury so I bended down ans looked at his shield and caught the snakes eyes blinking but I was grabbed before I could touch it

"Can I help you with something, beautiful" he asked me before he backed me up till I was trapped by a table
Nope. I'm good. I, I was just...I was, erm, helping my servent gather my husbands armour." I said lying through my teeth and went to pass him but he grabbed me and bended me over the table while I started to get scared and when I felt him place his hands on my hips and raise my dress that the tears started to flow and me trying to get away "STOPPP GET OFF ME " I yelled but he wouldnt let me go "I TOLD YOU I WOULD MAKE YOU MINE" he said before He smacked me through the face and started to beat me when Merlin ran in and called the guards. 

He picked me up and rushed me to me and Arthurs chambers before he asked a guard to fetch him as it was a emergency.

Arthur bursted in to the room and when he saw me he looked at Merlin and he explained.  When he was done explaining Arthur was vivid with anger before he summoned a court gathering while he took me in his arms  "I DONT CARE DO IT NOW" He yelled at the gaurd before the guard rushed away to inform the king while he carefully changed my clothes and led me to the throneroom "Why have you summoned the court?" His father demanded

"I believe Knight Valiant is using a magic shield to cheat in the tournament. And because he has tried to force himself on my wife and the future qeeun of Camelot" he said making me shiver of the memory and the way he was looking at me and when Arthur saw the way he was looking at me before he grabbed me and held me againts him and hid my face in his chest "Look at her in that manner and it will be the last" He growled

"Valiant, what do you have to say to this?" Uther asked while he looked at me "My Lord, this is ridiculous. I've never used magic . Does your son have any evidence to support this outrageous accusation?" Valiant asked Arthur making his father look at him  "Do you have evidence?" He asked and Arthur nodded "I do." He said and motioned for merlin to come foward who then handed the king the snake head

"Then how am I to know that what you say is true?" The king asked us and looked at me in concern for me an the state I was in
"I have a witness. Knight Ewan was bitten by one of the snakes from the shield. Its venom made him grievously ill, however, he has received an antidote. He will confirm that" Knight Valiant is using magic." Arthur said tightening his hold on me "Where is this witness?" His father aske him making Arthur look around "He should be here..." he said and spotted Gaius and Merlin in the corner "Where's Ewan?" He asked approaching them  "He's dead."Merlin said making Arthurs eyes widen

"I'm waiting!" His father yelled "I'm afraid the witness is dead." Arthur said and that made Valiant smirk "So you have no proof to support these allegations. Have you seen Valiant using magic? And the claim of him forcing himself on your wife?" His father said making us look at Valiant

"No. But my servant saved her from him when he tried forcing himself on her and she bares the marks he has left on her" Arthur said kissing my head softly "My dear show us the marks" Uther said before I looked at Arthur looked at me and smiled softly at me before he pulled my sleeve off my shoulder to reveal the bruses Valiant left on me  "My Lord, am I really to be judged on some hearsay from a boy and his bitch" Valiant sneered before Arthur punshed him "CALL HER THAT AGAIN AND I'LL KILL YOU" Arthur yelled before returnig to my side "with the evidence on princess Felicia Pendragon and the witnessand the insult of Sir Valiant we find the ecused guilty of attempt to rape and assualt however he is still forced to compete in tomorrows fight againts prince Arthur Pendragon" the second in command of the court said before we were dismissed and left to our chambers where Arthur had helped me bath and dress in my night dress before I sat on the bed watching him as he talked to merlin

"I believed you, I trusted you, and you made me look a complete fool well except for the crime againts my wife and for that I thank you but still you betrayed my trust to the accusations about use of magic."Arthur said making me worried "I know it didn't go exactly to plan." Merlin said and that was the last for Arthur "Didn't go to plan"?! My father and the entire royal court think I'm a coward! YOU HUMILIATED ME!"he yellef causing me to flinch "We can still expose Valiant." Merlin tried to reason with him but saw me shake my head no "I no longer require your services." Arthur said making my eyes grow wide "You're sacking me?" Merlin gasped "I need a servant I can trust." Arthur said before Merlin stepped closer "You can trust me!" Merlin said and I saw what was the first time in my life tears gather up in Arthurs eyes but he blinked them away "And look where it got me this time. Get out of my sight!" He yelled at merlin before merlin dashed out of the room and Arthur slumped againts the table holding his head

I walked up to him and held him "he was doinv what was right love come on lets get ready for bed" I said before I got in my side and he got dressed before he too got in and blew the candle out and we fell asleep in each others arms
