Affair Of The Heart

*^*^*Chapter One*^*^*

I wish I could be on a first name basis with my manager and assistant but my mom forbade that as "it will be unprofessional"  so it's always either "Ms. Jung" or "manager" same with my assistant, either "Mrs. Kim" or "assistant".

We ended up being there 5 minutes early so I decided to take a breather and close my eyes for a second before entering the restaurant. 

"Ok, let's go" I huff and exit the car, my assistant following as my manager had to go see her boss. 

"Hello Mrs. Min" I say to my mom while bowing formally to her then waiting as a waiter pulled my seat out for me then I sit down scooting in with the help of the waiter.

My assistant sits at a separate table as my mom and I have our "privacy". "Hello Haewon" my mom says back smiling at how respectful I'm being towards her. "How have you been?" I ask but my question gets dismissed "you know, your brother isn't doing so well" she says looking sourly at me then picking a leaf off of her plate and putting it delicately in her mouth still eyeing me. "Yes, how is he?" I ask her feeling down hearing that. "Much better than you, he's still in that group. You know I always knew he would do better than you".

I sit there and smile then take a sip of my sparkling water looking down. "Hmm, yes he seems to be doing way better than me" she nods then takes another bite looking deep in thought "I feel bad for him, his only sister gets with his bandmate and best friend, and then has to check up on his little sister while also looking after his friend. Seems tiring" she looks at me then smirking as she knows she's getting to me. "Yes, how very sad mother" I say then look away from her. At anything but her.

I remember when everything happened. Seems like it happened just yesterday.

*FLASH BACK* 

"What do you mean you've been dating for 8 months?!" Yoongi yells at the both of us making my eyes sting, he has never yelled like this at me. 

"I'm so, so….so disappointed! How could you? H-how could you not tell me?" He asks tears falling down his face. "I'm so sorry, please…" I look at him desperately hoping he'll forgive me. "Please? No...no and you, YOU Jimin. I-i thought we settled just like everyone not to date someone's sibling" he's screaming now face beat red.

I'm sobbing by now I feel Jimin hold me and kiss the top of my head when all of a sudden yoongi grabs Jimin and uses all of his strength to fling him to the ground. Gasping loudly I jump up to help Jimin get up but am pushed to he side harshly by yoongi, I look up at him with fear in my eyes. He's never once put a hand on me, or any woman for that fact.

"You bastard!" He punches Jimin while Jimin is getting up holding his jaw where yoongi just punched him at. "I love her!" Jimin screams back receiving every punch, slap, degrading thing yoongi is throwing at him since he knows, he is at fault.

"I-i loved her" Jimin says making my knees weak causing me to tumbling to the ground wailing a sound that only a broken hearted soul can make. "I'm, I'm sorry but...it's over, we're done. It was fun while it lasted" he said then walked out of the room leaving yoongi and I alone.

Five minutes must have passed when i felt two familiar arms circle around me and lifting me up then holding me to a chest. 

"It's ok, it's over with, your fine now" yoongi murmured while kissing the top of my head making me weakly push him away while he's still trying to hold me "NO!" I scream at him then let a sob leave my chest. 

Every breath, blink, cry, scream, word, everything that leaves my body feels like my heart is being punched while my soul is leaving my body.

*END OF FLASH BACK*

I take of the food that is sitting in front of me now. I look up and see that my mother is eating happily while my assistant is looking distressed at me, then I notice it. I've been silently crying, so I wipe my eyes then smile and eat and carry on a different subject with my mother.

After the lunch I go back to my house and get a fresh face of makeup since I cried most of it off on the way here. A new outfit then we go to JYP to have a business meeting.

"Ms. Haewon, or Cherry, hello." JYPs CEO greets me with a bow and I do the same back smiling, I then take a seat and wait for the information to be said.

"Since your contract with our kpop girl group MixLovez has been terminated we have come up with the idea of letting you have a solo act. But you will be partnering up with another company and sooner or later you will be making an album with this group that the company puts you with and going on tour with them. This contract will last for 6 years, if you are successful you can update the contract by the time it is over with. So, what do you say?" He says looking at me hopefuly.

"She would be very proud to take such an opportunity" my manager says smiling widely while I sit and smile, nod. 

I sign the contract and go over the rules with the CEO and of course adding my own rules to the contract which he gracefully accepted.

We left the building and into the now chilly weather. "Let's go get something to eat then you can go back to the house and rest as your schedule is about to get busy again" my assistant suggests and I agree so we get some food and then head back home. 

Tomorrow is another day.

I love myself, I'm over him, and everything is going to get better.

Breath, smile, nod and repeat.
