Write a short story about the spirit of Christmas/Winter.
"I can't do it, please don't make me, please!" she shouted, eyes locked on the thing she feared most, her heart pounding like a drumbeat as she tried desperately to pull her arm out of her so called friends grip.
"You're such a baby" the friend laughed mockingly as she dragged her closer to the frozen lake, ignoring her pleas. As they grew closer to the lake the girls fear grew. Sweat dripped from her head as her feet touched the ice and she was pushed so hard she slipped and slid to the centre. Once she stopped she sat up only to hear the cracking of the ice underneath
her. To petrified to scream she looked to her friend in horror only to see her running back the way they came. She had gone so far that it was likely she had started running immediately after pushing the girl on the ice, not seeing it breaking. The girl trembled in fear as her eyes alternate between the slowly breaking ice and her friend running off in the distance. The world slowed down around her as she realised that she was not likely to survive this. Once the ice breaks it will be a race between pneumonia and drowning to see which will kill her first. Tears fell from her eyes as the ice gave way and everything...went...black.
She opened her eyes to a man standing over her. His hair white as snow and his old blue eyes that hold more kindness than she had ever seen.
As you probably figured out, I was supposed to be ice skating when I wrote this but I am scared of ice and just sat on the sidelines.
I don't remember where I was going with this but if anyone wants to finish the idea please let me know so I can read it.
