Thunder, lightening and rain fell from the night sky over New York city. Everyone tried escaping from the ran except from above a rooftop was girl standing over the city.

He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left, and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
You begin to wonder why you came/
Her tears were mixed with rain as they trailed down her face.
"Why? Why did you have to leave me? You were my best friend"
She said to herself. Earlier today she had received from her co-workers that her friend had committed suicide. Unknown to the girl, she was being watched.

Raph knew better never to reveal himself to a human but in this case was different, he needed to save her life before she decides to jump.

Raph asked. The girl got startled from the deep voice in the shadow but she remained in place as she looked down.
"So what if I am, what's it to you?"
She asked not bothering to look back as Raph got closer to her.

"Yeah right. Since when did my life had value? I couldn't save my friend from committing suicide, so why should someone save mine? It isn't fair"
"Look I'm sorry for your loss but this isn't the answer and you look like a pretty smart girl"
/As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice

Raph moved closer to edge of the roof but remained hidden in the shadow. The girl looked to the side before looking back to the ground.
"Why are you in the shadow?"
"Because then you'll think I'm a monster"

"You know if I had a mind like yours, I wouldn't be here today"
The girl looked to Raph as she hiccup.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm a monster, I didn't want to grow up being hated or captured for experiments"

"I learned to live and train myself, sure those thoughts comes back to me but I still helped to save people's life just how like I'm saving yours, it makes me feel alive"

The girl turn her direction to Raph.
"Can I see you?"
"Are you going to get off the edge first?"

The girl nodded as she let out a shakey sigh as she moved away from the edge. Raph let out a sigh.
"Just promise not to scream"

Raph took a deep breathe as he stepped into the light. The girl remained quiet as she looked at him up and down.
"Um where is the monster that I'm suppose to see?"
She asked. Raph blinked as he looked down at himself.

Raph was surprise by the answer.
"My name is Summer, what's yours?"
"Raphael but you can call me Raph for short"
The girl nodded as she walked up to Raph and embraced him.

"Thank you for saving my life"
Raph chuckled gently.
"I think you're starting to turn my life around"
Summer pulled back gently look at him.
"Why do you say that?"
"Well this is my first time being hug by a human girl"
Summer smiled as she embraced him harder. Raph gently rubbed her back.
"I never want to see you trying to kill yourself again, you hear me?"
Summer nodded as tears once again covered her eyes.
"I moved here with my best friend to escape trouble from my hometown, but now she left me"
"I'm sorry, I really am"
"Stay. Stay with me, Raph"
"Always and I will always protect you"
"How can you?"
"I'm also a ninja along with my brothers"
Summer smiled at him.
