Alright now that she's out of the way. There's no one here to stop me now. So let's stop stalling and get this started, shall we? Enjoy.... if you can. *smirks*

"Damnit!" Roman said in aggravation.

"Calm down Roman. I'm sure we'll catch him next time." Patton said to his partner.

"But it's always 'next time'! We've been trying to catch him for over two years now! We're officers that haven't caught the criminal and we keep waiting for him to make the first move! What's the head office gonna think?" Roman said pacing around his office.

"Well we're not the only officers that have tried to find him. I'm sure they've had the same trouble." Patton said. Roman sighed he knew that they weren't the first people trying to find this thief. Heck if he didn't even know if this thief was catchable. However he had to keep his hopes high. Cause one day he knew they would find this thief.

"Your right... it's just frustrating." Roman replied. Patton smiled.

"I know, but if anyone can catch him. It's us." Patton said.

(3 weeks later)

"We're close I can feel it!" Patton exclaimed taking off some of the papers that were pinned to the wall. Roman groaned and fell back into his office chair.

"Don't kid yourself we barely have more evidence than we had before." Roman said.

"Well at least we officially have more evidence than anyone else has managed to get." Patton said happily. Roman's mood immediately changed.

"Really?" Roman asked. Patton then walked to the computer and started typing. As soon as he was done he showed Roman the screen. Which had results on it showing that they were indeed the closes anyone has ever been to figuring out this case.

"Well then... this cause for a Celebration!" Roman said excitedly. He then ran out the door. Patton giggled. Roman then ran back into the door way.

"How did you get those results?" Roman asked now realizing that they weren't even supposed to see these results for another month or so.

"I have my ways Ro. Now let's go celebrate!" Patton said walking passed Roman. While he just stood there shocked for a moment. He decided not to question it and walked out of his office. When they were outside they climbed into Patton's car. Already knowing Patton would be the one sober enough to drive them to there shared apartment. When they were younger they always dreamed of being detectives and because they were so close a lot of there office members thought they were dating but in all reality they honestly didn't see each other that way. In fact they thought of each other as family.

"Alright where are we going this time?" Patton asked.

"Where we always go. Bart's Buffet and Casino." Roman said. Patton smiled and started his car however instead of the car starting they heard a loud noise coming from his tire. Patton gasped and got out of his car. He shined his flashlight and sure enough. Somebody slashed all four of his tires. Patton groaned. He had just gotten his tires replaced. Roman got out of the car and looked to.

"Well there is a couple of spare tires in the trunks of the patrol cars. I can go get them." Roman said trying to cheer up his friend. Patton sighed.
