~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Logan was asleep in his pajamas witch was a dark blue NASA T-shirt and grey joggers Virgil had gotten him for Christmas. Logan was sleeping peacefully until his alarm went off. He groaned as he moved his arm to turn the alarm off. As soon as it was off he grabbed his glasses and slid them on his face as he sat up. He rubbed his eyes trying to wake up completely.
Once Logan was awake completely he could hear rustling coming from down stairs. That's how he knew his roommate, Virgil, and his twin brother, Roman, where both awake. Logan yawned and got out of bed. He didn't bother changing since it was his only day off. You see Logan was a professor at a nearby college. He taught astronomy. Which was way more popular than you would think. He spent most weeks teaching about astronomy, of course he had his weekend off but he usually spent that time taking care of the house he lived in and occasionally his roommates. Logan didn't really mind but he could use a day off every once in a while, and since it was his birthday he couldn't see a better opportunity to ask for a day off.
Logan walked to the living room and stopped at the top of the stairs to see his roommate and brother trying to put up dark blue decorations quietly, and failing miserably.
"It's fine Roman he's not gonna care." Virgil stated
"No, this is my brother we are talking about, he deserves the best!" Roman said dramatically. Logan chuckled quietly enough for Virgil nor Roman to hear.
"Roman I care about Logan as much as you do and this is fine." Virgil said motioning to the streamers they already had up and a banner that read "Happy Birthday".
"No! There needs to be more! Maybe we could put more streamers up and use some balloons-" Roman was going on a rant about what more they could do. While he was ranting Virgil noticed Logan at the top of the stair case. Virgil sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose knowing that they were caught trying to plan for Logan's birthday. However Roman still didn't notice that the person they were supposed to be surprising caught them decorating.
"Roman I think that's a great idea." Logan said rolling his eyes.
"Thank you Logan!" Roman said still not noticing, Virgil used his hand to cover his mouth and stop himself from laughing.
"See me and you think alike- you know like that one thing, what's it called again?" Roman said still blinded to the fact that they had just been caught trying to surprise Logan for his birthday. Virgil started giggling quietly, trying his best not to laugh.
