Raphtalia was sat down with a large, blazing blush on her face as you softly brushed her long, autumn-brown hair. It felt silky to the touch, and smelled so fresh and sweet. You took care with brushing between her ears, which, despite all your best efforts, still made Raphtalia let out small squeals of joy. You chuckled and kissed her left cheek at one interval, and then the other cheek at the next.
"S-so...(Yn)" asked Raphtalia in a low tone
"Yes, my darling?" you calmly asked back with a small smile across your lips
"We're going to help out in that cafe tomorrow. Your not just going to do it by yourself" she told with an assertive tone. You smiled at her forcefulness of the matter and turned her around. You cupper her cheek with your left hand and brought her in for a small kiss
"Of course Raphtalia. It can even be like a little date, of sorts"
Raphtalia smiled and hugged you tight "Yay" she whispered into your ear
(Timeskip)
The two of you were sat back on the log bench now, eating a hearty beef stew that was prepared by Melty, Raphtalia and yourself. You had to admit the taste was divine. You felt Raphtalia put her head on your shoulder and slowly start to close her eyes. You nudged her awake
"Raphtalia, come on, you gotta eat up"
She let out a small yawn and looked at her stew with groggy eyes "I...I don't think I can even pick up my spoon (Yn). I'm just so tired"
You hung your head low. You felt guilty over her tiredness. You had caused it, after all, despite what Raphtalia said. You still felt guilty over what had happened. An idea popped into your head and you quickly turned towards your beautiful, tired tanuki.
"Hey Raphtalia" you whisper gently
"What?" she asked, placing her head on your shoulder
"Would you like me to feed you?"
Raphtalia opened her eyes and her cheeks flared up "N-no thank you! I....no! I can eat it by myself just fine!" she swiped up her bowl and frantically shoved the rest of her food down her throat. You noticed her tail spasm violently. "(Is she...is she lying?)" you wondered as Raphtalia wiped her mouth and sat trying to calm down her nerves
The fire had died out now, and the sleeping bags were rolled up. Naofumi was on watch this time, since Durv was injured and needed rest. Filo slept in her filolial form, and Melty slept next to her soft, warm feathers. Durv barely managed to fit into his own. It seemed even the slightest muscle spasm would shred the fabric apart. That left only one sleeping bag left for you and Raphtalia. The two of you had changed into your sleepwear and were standing over the bag.
"So...how are we gonna do this?" you asked
"I'm not sure. What do you think we should do?"
You looked back at the sleeping bag and racked your brain for an idea. "I guess we'll have to do it like last time" you muttered
"Oh!" squeaked Raphtalia, with a modest pink blush appearing on her face as she recalled the intimate incident
You stepped into the sleeping bag and positioned yourself comfortably. You then made some space so Raphtalia could fit comfortably as well. She positioned herself on top of you, with her back on your chest. You slowly wrapped your arms around her smooth stomach and kissed the side of her head
"Is this alright darling?" you flirted with a grin
"Yes...it feels so nice" she purred back, slowly swaying her body around in pleasure. Her tail stroked your legs and lower stomach, and a certain area that kept trying to come up. You blushed at the sensation and hugged Raphtalia even tighter
"Goodnight, Raphtalia" you cooed into her ear
"Goodnight (Yn)" she whispered back, stroking your left cheek with her tail. It's touch softly serenaded you into a deep, love-filled slumber. A smile stretched permanently across your face. Right now, you didn't think you could be happier.
