I've been reading a lot of the rising of the shield hero stories as of late and I thought hey why not give it a shot. so here we are.

Amaya is a cheerful and bubbly girl, living in a world where the 4 cardinal heroes are summoned to save the lives of everyone in the world. She may just be recalled as a happy girl in a small village living with her 2 brothers, but she is much stronger than her title suggests. Having being transported here after a car crash, she blended in and decided that she'd make the most of her life living in this world. Returning was always in the back of her head, but she gave up after finding people that she loved around the land. Naofumi Iwatani is, or was, an ordinary otaku who lived his life casually. Reading light novels at the library and such. However, he was sent to a world where he was the Shield hero; the least respected of the 4 cardinal heroes. After being betrayed by who he thought was going to be a potential party member, his optimistic and carefree personality took a turn. Both with potential and their relation to the world that they were in before being transported, what will happen? Sparks of hate, friendship, or maybe even love? Read to find out. Motoyasu was ordered by no other than Malty to go against the shield 'devil' and to slay the devil himself. Motoyasu took the offer- ready to pierce Naofumi and take away his life.
