"Hi.." The young girl said as she stood outside the door of her childhood home.
Haewon shook her head and recomposed herself. "Hey! No...too much." She muttered before plastering a smile. "Hey there, long time no- ugh." She groaned, running a hand through her hair.
"Hey Mum!! I'm back- oh my god Haewon why do you sound two years old." She said to herself and whilst she was doing this, the click of the door made her jolt up.
"Haewon!" "Ah, um- I'm, wow, so like- yeah- oh!" Haewon gasped out when her Mother stepped forward to engulf her into a tight hug.
Haewon smiled into her mother's embrace and wrapped her arms around her as her Mother cried.
Haewon's Mother sniffled and pulled away to cup her face, peering into her eyes. "You've grown so much." Haewon scowled. "It's only been a year-" "Have you been eating well, have you made friends, were you happy-"
"Oh come on Sorin, let the girl in." A familiar voice said from inside the house and Haewon gasped as her eyes lit up. "Dad!" She exclaimed, running into the house and locking her arms around his neck.
Her Father chuckled and spun her around briefly. "You've grown so much, my baby girl." He muttered into her hair. "We've missed you so much."

"Okay Mum, yeah I know!" Haewon called out as she reached the top of the stairs. Her face already ached from the amounts she had been grinning; sighing contently, she entered her room.
Everything looked the same, the warm cosiness making her really feel at home.
